Class Room Teachers and the Campus which is big
Teachers are very helpful to us they give us proper guide
Over all the college is very nice as per my view

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the BALLB just to fulfil my dream which is to be an INCOME TAX LAWYER. the main reason to select this college is the Professor They are very good at teaching. In the BALLB course Exams will hold twice a year as it is known as Semester.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

One of the most important reasons to choose this college is the fees it is very affordable now recently our college has increased the fees from 25k to 30k per year. and the admission fee is 45k.

Campus Life

Our college has organized Many Festival Like Saraswati Puja and IFTAR - E -MAJLIS every year. Our college campus is quite big it also has a football ground. Every year our college held an Annul Sports event

Admission

In my opinion the college it sefl very good for the BALLB course. As of now in my view, there is no need for any improvement. and one thing must say is the teachers are very good in terms of their knowledge and profession. they are the very nice people they will help us with any study-related issue 24x7.

Heritage Law College is Lovely!!

Placement Experience:

Number of students who have been placed is far less than what it should be ideally. Kolkata is a paradise for law practice as it is the largest city of India and lawyers have always been in demand here. Still only 30% of the students are placed here and that's a big issue considering the name of our college.

My experience in Heritage Law College

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main thing that I love about the curriculum is that we need to study in depth. Our syllabus contains most basic to really professional level stuff which really help us prepare for real life experiences and further academic pursuits. The only change i would like is more practical experiences that would be helpful.

Heritage Law College is a heritage of legal studies!

Placement Experience:

In the final year when some law firms and legal houses of Calcutta High Court approach our college for placements. If one gets at top law firm them the packages are around 8-10 lakhs but if under a lawyer the salary is just 2-3 lakhs a year.

Memories in March - A true fact about My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was fond of international reletaions in my +2 days, thats why I choose Political Science as my honours subject over History. Hence. later I found very boring and monotonous in the first year of its syllabus. After having 3 years of immense syllabus, I have finally fall in love with subject in the final as my beloved IR(International Relations) subjects finally came into my life. There was yearly only one exam contains 2 parts accumating questions.

South Calcutta Law College is Superflous!!

Placement Experience:

JSA has made tie-ups and also ASA department too has made available for our college as 24 students from our batch were placed at their office with a salary of 18000 a year. They were chosen after they did intenrship over there and thus those who proved their mettle were hired by them.

NUJS boasts near 100% placements, there is a dedicated Campus Recruitment Committee which has elected student members as well as a Faculty Co-ordinator. Some students get PPOs and therefore they do not sit for Day Zero. Tier 1 and Tier 2 law firms as well as Mncs hire with packages ranging around 14-20 lpa.

The college doesnt provide any internship from its side nor does it provide any good placement. However about 50% of the students get placed by applying in off campus places. The teachers help us find good law firms for internships though....Read More
