Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is not as compared to the requirements required for job market . The curriculum partially prepares us for real world applications or further academic pursuits, rest we have to do it ourselves. The frequency of the exams should be elongated so we can prepare well for our exams

Placement Experience

3

As per my knowledge from 6th or 7th semester the students are eligible for campus placements . The highest package of Tula's last year was 36 lpa from cse branch and the average is 4-6 lpa Almost every 7out of 10 students remained unplaced until last year. I'll go for my master's degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm pursuing my btech degree from Tula's institute and the tution fees of my course is 1,65,000rs per year , apart from these the first year students university registration and examination fees cost 7400rs and I have no idea of course or other fees for sc/st students but they provide some scholarship to certain reserved category candidates

Campus Life

4

There are good tech fests and annual fests in the college which leaves us with a lot of unforgettable memories. There is a wide range of books in the college liberary . Faculties and technological provisions with classroom is quite good as compared to other colleges in this region.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel facility is genuinely good and the mess is kind of ok ok . One can register for hostel during the time of admission. The service provided at the hostel is optimum to live and study peacefully although the boys hostel of freshers lack some peace but overall hostel life is very good for exploring.

Admission

This college is good in terms of fee structure in comparison of other colleges. I didn't got rejection from any other colleges I applied for , I had applied for vit vellore , thapar university, Sit Pune and other colleges and I was eligible to take admission in anyone of the but I wanted to be in the north of India and needed a peaceful place to pursue my further education that's why I chose Tula's

Faculty

4

The ratio of the faculty is 1 faculty per subject per section so overall ratios of faculty is good and the faculties are easily approachable. Faculties of all the subjects are currently good apart from the faculties of engineering physics. Not matter how much focused you're in the class still it goes very difficult to understand new topics. There are two mid sems and one end-sem in every semester and there are total of 7/8 semesters . Most of the students pass the exams with good aggregate but still a lot of them fail too. Curriculum is quite relevant

Also since our college don't have such big strength like the private universities have and therefore placements final figures may be small but in all, our percentage of placements are better and higher than those of the private universities.

Oracle has been the biggest find of GEHU as before GEU, they hire students of our college. The reason is that we have given 20+ students to Oracle so far and they all have been doing well there. So almunus of our college has made our placements stronger by bringing the same companies to our campus for placements year after year.

In GEU, placements are good and this was the main reason I took admission here. Companies visits here from Hyderabad offices and even Pune offices who doesn't just gives us jobs but intenrships opportunities too. Around 20% of the students even get PPO as our college teaching and training is such that getting job here is a cakewalk.

So in short all get the opportunity to give their shot at it and around 80% gets placed as well. I have decided to pursue M.Tech and therefore I have started preparing for the entrance and our college provides assistance in that as well.

Tula Institute has a policy where students have to have a severe training during the second year. Communication skills and all are very important for a engineering student and we are taught that in the training program. So finally comes the placements and around half the batch is seen getting placed every year from our college.
