Course Curriculum Overview

I love competitive programming that's why i choose this college coding culture is very good there are good seniors which teach us about everything. Areas of improvement are just about the infrastructure. Acs are still not available

Placement Experience

The placements are very good for cse it is wonderful but you have to study the internships are open after 2nd year and the placement are open after 3rd year. 80-90 per cent get placed every year Cse average package is 25lpa The college average is around 18 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

My year wise fees is around 196000 rs for income above 5 lakhs. For income between 1-5 lakhs is around 132000 rs . For income below 1 lakhs is just 62000 rs per annum. It includes hostel fees also which is 12000 rs which is optional. The mess fees is 50000 rs per year

Campus Life

My experience was good. The annual fest is culrav and the technical fest is aviskar which is held in November there are large Ranges of books available in the library the sport faculties are not very good but still all the sports are well in the college

Hostel Facilities

The food is decided by the students in the hostel there is hostel committee the food is not very good but it is an average .in the breakfast to get everyday milk and other things like bread gem and a solid mail in the lunch you everyday got right rotis , chawal and sabji and dinner is always special

Admission

I was getting Iit Kanpur civil Iit bhu mechanical Iit Bombay metallurgy Iit dhanbad ece Iit delhi material But I was quite sure about so i chose this college admission can be taken through Jee Mains

Faculty

The faculty to students ratio is around 1:20.the faculty is very old and annoying. I like Naresh kumar physics hod because of his teaching style. There are midsems and endsems every semestet which are quite tough.

College life and it's reality

Placement Experience:

Highest package in our college is 50-60 lpa meanwhile average package is 7-8 lpa and many people don't even sit for placements as they have another plans like higher education or buisness but placement percentage is around 70 -80 percent

There are many placements opportunities provided by the campus. Many companies like samsung, google visit the campus but only take the top candidates. Highest package offered last year was around 33 LPA and average package is around 7-8 LPA. Almost everyone gets placement after the course so thats a good thing.

Campus placement is offered in college but not all students get on campus placement only some students get and others have to search for off campus placement you have to be in top 10 in your branch to get a on campus placement as the competition is very high

Placement Experience:

From 7th Semster Students are eligible to sit in the Campus placements. Students are eligible only if they have 8CGPA in every year. In past there were many companies like Amazon , adobe , Mahindra and many more , Highest on campus placement was of 56Lac/year , Average placement : around 5lac/year. Around 20% students are really placed in this college. My personal opinion is to get a job from either outside or oncampus placement and save for my Masters to do it from abroad.

Sweet and Salty Journey of GCET.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Preferred this course because I saw a great scope in this. Artificial Intelligence is our future so it is having great scope for the future. Faculty: Student Ratio is Good means the no. of Teachers is enough for every course. They all are having good qualifications and are very helpful. The term exams were quite easy and you will not find any difficulty in passing.

Applied to almost all older IITs and a few NITs like Trichy, warangal and Surathkal. I kept this college as the 4th NIT among my list. Got this college, was initially dissatisfied because of its NIRF ranking, but MNNIT is altogether a different world. The talent pool this college has is of different level. Be it technical activities, coding culture and what not. So I got to know why this college is Rank1 amongst all NITs in terms of placements. I got admission in Information Technology branch. Currently this branch is discontinued in the college due to its extreme similarities with the CSE branch. I got some good faculties but a really good peer group. I choose this college only for the reason of good placements and I was not disappointed. You should have a rough rank of about 3000-4000 in JEE Mains to crack CSE in this college which will be a good platform to get great opportunities. A Glance through MNNIT

The Eligibility of the course was to clear the JEE Mains exam and admission was done based on rank. The application process was fully through JOSAA. I did not avail of any reservation benefits. I want the admission process to be more relaxing for students so that they don't miss out on the chance to apply after the dates for JOSAA are gone.
