Professional growth at SRM Delhi NCR campus

The course i choose is aiml for the growing markets related in ai. The courses are mostly same for many different specializations and not much effective according to me The curriculum only has real undustrial relevant subjects for 3 and 4 year but not especially for 1 year which only has basic 12 pcm advanced upgraded courses. I suggest the course to be more hands on and practical. Tge exams frequency is less with high volume. Difficulty is medium.

the college has many internship opportunities provided to the students. The internship starts from fifth semester or third year for the students and many companies like Amazon, JP Morgan Chase , Microsoft , Infosys, Wipro , TCS, Philips and many more provide internship opportunities. Internship role provided are software engineer intern , data analyst intern , ML engineer intern , SDE intern, Business Technology Solution Associate, Graduate Engineering Trainee, SDET , etc. the interns are used to work on real world projects like web development, data, science analytics and automation platforms. Develop, develop developing AIML models for solving industry level problems. Project, such as sentimental analysis, chatbot development , fintech dashboards , cloud based networking tools. Also they participate in various hackathons and research. The outcomes result in hands on professional experience, improved problem solving skills , and networking with industry leaders. Pre placement offer for high falling intern also provided.

Today in Srm Modi Nagar, Ghaziabad become eligible from seventh sector or the last year of the course. some of the top creators for the core branches are Amazon, Infosys , TCS , Wipro, IBM, SAP labs, Cognizant , Tech Mahindra, HCL , JP Morgan Chase , Philips , etc. in 2024 more than 958 companies visited the campus making more than 6200 job offers across all disciplines. the highest package for BTech students in Srm IST Delhi NCR campus ranged from 18 LPA to 22 LPA. Selective candidates Getting up to 29 LPA. the average package for BTech with artificial intelligence and machine learning 4.5 to 6.5 LPA. the lowest package for eligible students was 3.45 LPA. the placement rate for eligible students for the recent past years is 80% to 90% for cse departements but dipped to about 55% for all btech combined in 2023 to 24 large scale hiring typically happens from IT firms and consultancy company. Students are offered role such as software developer, analyst, data engineer, graduate trainee, systems engineer, business analyst, etc. my future plans are either do higher studies like M, tech and MBA or Work in software development and machine, Delhi related job roles.

For Computer Science And Engineering with specialization in AI/ML , the total fee is around 371000 per year distributed as ?350000 for tution fees, 10000 for registration amount , 10000 with extra curricular activities(one time) with 1000 as security deposit which is also onetime and refundable after. The lab/development fees is 5000 to 20000 rupees per year. SRMJEEE Merit based Scholarship provides 100% tution waiver for top 100 ranks and top 5000 in rank get 10% to 75% and depend on the rank. SRM merit scholarship also provides 10% to 50% tution waiver based on your board performance mainly class 12. For Employee ward/Defence/Art and Culture 25% to 50% fee reduced for qualified students. Also depends on Socio Economic status and disabled candidates. Yes Tge fees are gradually increasing per year roughly around 5 to 10%. While I believe the program is quite expensive based on affordability.

some of the annual and technical event held in Srm campus are Rubaroo national level cultural fest which helps in April, innovate technical fest conducted in January focus technical workshop, paper presentation, Coding event and robotics. Also, there is swagatham, fresher party, prerna diwas. There are many different range of books wearing from technical to fictional content. It is very easy to have access to the book, and there are plenty of resources inside the library. The infrastructure is modern. the classroom has Wi-Fi access, air-conditioner and projector and also smart boards. there are various clubs run by students like Srm, cultural club, dance club, music club ,theatre club, literary club and various tech clubs like gfg, ISC etc. There are many sports like basketball, badminton, volleyball, cricket, football, etc. There are held many inter university and state level tournament, workshops and hackathons.

The hostels are divided into different blocks and each block has either only residence or students of a particular year or one block only has girls inside. My block or my hostel is made recently and inaugurated previous year. Hostel unlike other Hostel is made, specially with high facilities with also high price which is around ?260000 rupees anually and 12000 gym fees anually as optional. This is the only costly and high facility hostel in campus. The rooms are either for tripple or duo and provided with tv , electric kettle , air conditioner , hair dryer and some of these fancy equipment but still not worthy of 260000 amount price. The meal is not as expected for such high price and is okayish and normal. Registration process is easy. Needed adhhar id cards , and some affidavit documents with fees.

I applied to kiet , srm (this) , vit. The reason for selecting this college is that my relatives got high package job through it and also that i couldnt cleared some college exams like vit and other top exams like jee. I always want to do cse which i was not able to get in many good colleges so i have to choose from some low tier ones. Thats why i choosed this college. The srm helds SRMJEEE as enteance exam which provides scholarships too. After clearing it you must have minimum 60 % marks in boards (12th). The admission experience is not much good and lack transparency, you needd to ask each thing from faculty.

The faculty relationship with student is not bad but not that good either. My experience with professors is quite good and they are helpful and friendly. The best faculty is professiors according to me. The worst are the security guards, accountants they are wuite rude , ignorant and aggressive. There are 2 internals and 1 main semester exam. Thera are 5 units in each subject, 2 units are tested in 1 internals and test 3 in 2 internal while the semester has all. The number of students failing are quite low and course is not much relevant to me especially for 1 year.

The nightlife is quite poor in the college. There are quite inter campus restrictions to go some places after particular time in evening. Although there are some cafeteria (1-2) accessible at night but then they also not accessible and restricted after 10 pm. There are no library (open only during college time) allowed and no study rooms or areas anywhere. Gym is good but has timing of 6 to 8 at evening amd 6 to 8 at morning. The locality outside the campus is not that safe to roam around and campus is situated around fields and has small towns and villages nearby (suburban areas).
