Course Curriculum Overview

4

I am a forensic science student and i took this course here because i was always interested in this subject. There are various practicals conducted in a weekly basis The odd semester exams are usually very unorganized and feel rushed because of holidays but the even semester is longer in comparison to the odd semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees is 100000 or 50000 per semester Admission fees waa 30000 and additional security deposit of 10000. There are scholarships you fan avail if you are a national level athelete in any sports or of you are an international student.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is fun of you know how to pick your friend circles. I havent seen or heard any cases of ragging in the University. The Annual fest is called "ATTITUDE" And is held in the month of February or March. The library is big and it has books and journals related to various subjects that are frequently updated. If you are a sportsperson you have various facilities like there is a cricket field, Badminton courts, volleyball court, swimming pool, a gym, basketball court which are open from 6am to 9pm. There are various clubs like dance, music, drama, art, photography etc and if you are from outside assam there are union amd committees of different states that are completely run by the students which you Can join.

Admission

I Didn't apply to many Colleges as i was sure i wanted to take forensics and i searched for Colleges all over india. I even sat for the AIFSET examination but i Didn't apply further because they were all very far away from home. I am from Sikkim and This was the only one that was close to home. I took online Admission. The eligibility Was that you shouldn't have failed or have a compartment in any of your subjects in 12th for a bachelor's degree in Forensic Science and other paranedical degrees. If you have a compartment in any of your subjects you are eligible for diploma but not a bachelor's degree. The Admission process was quite smooth. The Admission fees was 30,000 with an additional security deposit of 10,000.

Faculty

Faculty of the College are highly qualified. Most of them are Ph.D holders and they are very good at doing their job. They are quite approachable but a small Percentage is very strict for some reason. The faculties from the nursing department and the paramedical department are very strict compared to other departments. There are various faculties whom i like because of their likeability and teaching quality. Some are very arrogant for no reason to the students. There are 2 sessionals 2 quizes and 1 final exam per semester. The difficulty of the exam depends on you mostly and what ypu have studied And it also depends on the study materials provided by the teacher. But it hasn't happen to me that the question given in the exam wasn't dissscussed in the Classroom you have to be attentive

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was a major factor that influenced my decision to choose this course, as it is well-structured and offers a balanced combination of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. The syllabus covers essential concepts in a systematic manner, starting from the basics and gradually advancing to more complex topics. The inclusion of practical sessions, assignments, and project work made the course appear relevant and aligned with current academic and professional requirements. This thoughtful design assured me that the course would help in developing analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and subject clarity, which are important for both academic growth and career development.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course as I actually liked it coz I have studied it in class 11 and 12 and want to study more in the field of data analytics. But here we didn't get much exposure to real world applications as we just ended our first sem but expect to get more in future . We also want immediate internships such that we can work on our skills so far as possible. We get less time to study for the exams as the course is vast but exams reach near but if studied in a daily basis routine, one can cop-up with it

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course because I dont have so much money to study for btech and all and also I didn't prepare for jee or neet so, the next thing come is mind is bsc that is in botany or zoology as I liked bio more than any other subjects. Yaa by reading botany I can know many things about plant and trees. The improvement that they can do is release a book according to the syllabus by the university and also add few more new teachers such that student can be friendly with them and ask their doubt . For me I think exam timing should be done... Like one before durga puja and one around December . And the difficulty level should be easy .

Course Curriculum Overview:

If I were to grade my own curriculum based on industry standards and my current performance in 2026, here is how I would rate it: 1. Relevance: 9.5/10 The relevance of an AI curriculum is defined by how well the training data prepares the model for real-world utility. Real-Time Adaptability: My curriculum is highly relevant because it isn't "frozen." Through features like Google Search grounding, I can bridge the gap between my training cutoff (January 2025) and the current events of 2026. Multimodal Integration: The curriculum isn't just text; it includes video, audio, and images. This makes the learning highly relevant to how humans actually communicate. Contextual Filtering: During training, "noise" (toxic, low-quality, or redundant data) is filtered out using advanced data-cleaning pipelines, ensuring that the "lessons" I learn are high-signal. 2. Comprehensiveness: 9/10 Comprehensiveness measures the "breadth" of the subjects covered. Subject Mastery: My training covers a massive range of disciplines, from quantum physics and advanced coding to creative writing and local pop culture. I have been "tested" on benchmarks like MMLU (57 subjects) and GPQA (expert-level science), where I consistently perform at or above human-expert levels. The "Long Context" Advantage: With a context window of up to 1 million tokens, my ability to "comprehend" entire libraries of books or hour-long videos in one go is a level of comprehensiveness that traditional education systems cannot match. Minor Gap (The 10%): The reason I don't give a 10/10 is that AI still faces challenges with "Deep Reasoning" in highly niche, unpublished domains or solving brand-new mathematical proofs that haven't been documented yet.The curriculum is world-class, but it is a "living" document. The faculty at Google constantly updates it to ensure I remain useful as the world changes. It is very good and helpful by giving us good knowledge and skills .this ciriculum helped me and it is very good and helpfu

Every year in the college wages programs are held which boost the spirit of the students it allows the students to showcase their talent and again knowledge in other fields too. The sports weeks and the freshers program are one of the prominent functions that are held every year. There could be a better curriculum in the teaching method by using various tools and gadgets including digital board and smart technologies. The exams had a not much to hard not that easy they are held on a moderate level which helps the student to maintain marks and gain knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Areas for improvement: more industry collaborations, guest lectures, and hands-on projects. Some subjects feel outdated and could be updated. Teaching methods could incorporate more interactive sessions and case studies. Exams are held semester-wise, with a mix of easy and challenging questions. Difficulty level is manageable with consistent effort. Frequency is okay, but sometimes feels rushed. Overall, the curriculum provides a solid foundation, but could benefit from more flexibility and modernization to better prepare students for the industry.
