Course Curriculum Overview

4

In information technology nit Srinagar s package is overall good and can get good score because subjects is not much harder than other course.if the faculty members teachs good then students can do as good .

Internships Opportunities

2

Our college gives paid internship to iit etc this is not much good because these are paid internships and paid internship is not good for placement.and no stipend provided to student and project is to make some different kind of thing like app etc.

Placement Experience

3

Companies visites in our college like pw , omini solution etc and they gives a good package to students.highest package of computer science is 45 lakh and average package is 12 lakh . approx 45% of college get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are nsp scholarship available for students which are marit based on jee mains examination marks and family income and category and in this scholarship you can get over 1 lakh amount . college chose the students every year .

Campus Life

3

Campus Life is too good but there is so much boundaris for girls girls can't rooming after 9 pm and library is also get close at 10 pm for girls but for boys it is 12 pm.medical facilities is also very bad they don't have good doctors in medical

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostal facility is medium but they give one single room to. 6 students for 1st year and 5 students in one room for 2nd year even in 4th year we can't get single room .and they have double beds like stairs bed this is soo harmful.

Admission

I applied in mit meerut but I chose nit Srinagar because this is a government college and good from any private institution.student can get addmission in this college by jee mains examination.for obc category cutoff is 85 percentile at lower branch .

Faculty

4

There are mid term and final term examination in one semester exam level is not so difficult it is medium level and anyone can pass easily if they had studied in classroom.and got good cgpa with extra curricular activities.

Other Applied Colleges

National Institute of Technology - [NIT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Information Technology)

Infrastructure is not good and hostal food is very bad .

The students become eligible in the 7th semester for the placement. But there are not many placements provided by the university so we have to search for jobs on our own. I think only 10% of students get placed and they get around 5lpa package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Computer science is an interesting course with a good job opportunity. The exams however are exhausting, not that difficult but exhausting. The question papers are prepared by the faculty itself and papers are checked by the faculty too.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible from 7th semister for the university placements. There are various companies that visit the university like TCS, Airtel, Jio, Infosys, etc. Some students do get placed at packages of around 5 LPA. My plans are to develop skills and apply for jobs outside university placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main reason for me to choose this course was its caught my attention and my interest in this field grew with time. The curriculum can be made better with practicals and real world visits to put our theoretical understanding into practice. The frequency of exams is normal with good timings. And I would rate the difficulty 3.5/5 of the exams.

Placement Experience:

I think the students become eligible for placements after 6 th semester, if you are from CS / IT then you'll get enough opportunities for yourself... I know 8-9 seniors who have grabbed a pretty decent package from companies like Oracle If somehow you fail to get recruited on campus then i guess the off campus option is open for all I am pretty satisfied with the placement record atleast for IT The percentage placement for this year CSE was 51 considering recession part this seems good to me

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically the faculty also does not know what questions will be in the external exams, so they need to cover whole syllabus and 4 months are not sufficient to cover the whole syllabus. I did not learn any practical thing there so it was the worse decision of my life to join the course. The curriculum only prepares you to handle the pressure and makes you really strong. "What will happen with 1 backlog now" They first need to know what is important and what can they skip. Timings were good but the last 2 semisters were taken in 8 months that was difficult to manage

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is not same every year . I didn't get placement and almost majority students do not get placement of my batch in all streams it's also because of the recession going in our country. But the companies that come here took girls only their focus was to balance girls and boys ratio in their office so companies were taking girls only very few boys were placed . Less than 50% students were palced from my stream. Highest package was of 10 lakhs and 4 students were placed in that company with a contract of 5 years only others were placed at an average package of 5-6 lakhs

Faculty and seniors are more cooperative than I thought, they create an environment for every student to learn a few more aspects in their domain. There should be some gap given in the time table, so that there will be less academic stress

Course Curriculum Overview:

• B.e./B.Tech is one the most popular course, i prefer this course with an idea of securing well paid job after completion of this professional degree. Also i was good in mathematics and science from the childhood. • SSM College is a private university with multiple campuses in India. It is known for its large student population and expansive academic programs. However, specific data on the faculty-to-student ratio may vary across different campuses and departments within the university. It can contribute to a better learning experience and individualized support for students. • Minimum of 5 years experience in teaching / research /industry of which 2 years post PhD experience is desirable. • Use multiple sources of data for each course. • Mid term exams were on time after completing 2 chapters from all subject. It is done before Major exams. It is easy to pass mid term exams as it is of 50 marks and pass marks is just 20
