What Students Say

Likes

Attendence is strict which is 66% compulsary for giving exams. And if we score just 66%.
Teaching staff is good and quite commendable.
Campus is good as it is only girls college it is quite safe.

Dislikes

Campus isn't big and there is construction going on right now which make the group mores small.
Fest isn't happening like the other delhi university colleges.
Network isn't available inside the college if you use jio.

Course Curriculum Overview

So Bachelor's of commerce (B.com) is what I am pursuing and the course itself has a lot to offer and when we think of the benefits of the course there's a lot, like it give you the knowledge of the business finances and gives you more to add the value to your life. I am rating it 3 because it provides education but many are unemployment. So if you want to get a job then you must have additional skills which makes yous stand out in the crowd.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 14185 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

1st year fee : 14150. And it is same for all the categories and is quite affordable. Scholarship isn't given in the college but you can surely apply if you are eligible in national scholarship portal.

Campus Life

There are over 30+ clubs in Kamala Nehru College. Where you can join and develop your skills. There is club for street dogs and cat, where you can help them. There is placement cell which tries there best to provide placement for the students. There is entrepreneurship society which is great if you want to have first hand experience about creating and making a company. There are nss,ncc, and many more..

Admission

So Kamala Nehru College itself is a very renowned college and prestigious college. It's is ranked 43 in nirf 2024 and has one of the best commerce department in all over Delhi university. Kamala Nehru is all women's college which make it more safe and secure.

Faculty

Faculty is good and the commerce department of Kamala Nehru has the largest faculty in the overall college and is known for many big things. And Rahul sir who teaches business law to us is one of the best teachers for me. He gives the clarity and he tries his best to let us know the topic and the concept. He makes the room like a court if it's needed and let all share opiniona and perspective which give us insight to the topic.

Students of 3rd semester become eligible for campus placements. Companies like pwc, EY, deloitte has visited our campus and offered packages according to the competency of student. 35-40% people do get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to move abroad and pursue ACCA.

Hansraj college- A blessing

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is really relevant and comprehensive. For eg in bcom we study business law, company law, Human Resources management, marketing, financial and corporate accounting, finance, busines maths, stats, income tax, cost accounting, economics as ge so all these are really great well structureda and do have real life practical applications therefore i think my course is really very well aligned and comprehensive in terms of the business world.
