Faculty and teaching method are good and supportivr
Classrooms are very big and fully air conditioned

Dislikes

It shares everything, from campus to library and canteen with sister nivedita university. It doesn't own anything
For someone who does not know to speak bengali, there campus life with be affected

Placement Experience

During my first week of college, the placements were going on and as much as i get to know that the placement cells hepls the students in every way possible. Also i get to know higest package this year is 32 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees of my college is 697000. According to the fees structure given by the college, 1st and 2nd semester fees is 98500 and 95000 respectively and the rest 6 semester fees is 86000,which includes caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, lab fees etc

Campus Life

My campus life was just opposite of what you can imagine. Furst there is the language barrier and i don't know why there is such thing in the campus. It us impossible to start a conversation until and unless you know bengali

Admission

I saw there rating over internet and it was good and fees was also affordable thats why i chose this college over any other college. Also as it is located in kolkata, many tech companies are situated here.

Faculty

I actually don't know about the faculty to student ratio thing but i can tell you that you will like there basuc mathematics faculty very much. There method of teaching is best for the new gen student

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant and useful for us.They teach data structures algorithm that is very important for college placements and they also teach os, networks and other usefull things that is very important in computer science.They provide very high quality labs and the whole college has a good internet connection.Tecahers are very educated and good they helps us and teaching in very good way .The exams time schedule is also very good if there is any problem the college will change the exam date that is really a good thing.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
