Course Curriculum Overview

5

Excellent Course curriculum with balance of theory and practical but just that some time practical lectures need to be more frequent than theory ones as they are extremely beneficial. Exam timings are very well balanced with preparatory leaves and are in easy moderate side with all questions asked on topics covered earlier

Internships Opportunities

5

Internship opportunities are made available from 3rd year of college itself depending upon CGPA and also the interview and interest of an individual. The stipend provided is also quite decent compared to other colleges and there is a lot of opportunity. Chance of PPO also exists. Internship also depends of projects you work on

Placement Experience

5

Being one of the best colleges in Maharashtra almost all top companies including Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte,TCS ,Google etc visit for offering campus placement. Highest package received for entire college was 86 LPA on campus while 1Cr off campus. Instrumentation placement percentage was 100% for last year with 11 LPA being average

Fees and Financial Aid

I had paid 1,12,000/year fees for my college availing the OBC benefit in the fee structure. The development fees and other fees are 1,10,000 while rest are alumni membership and exam fees. Tuition fees are not applicable foe category students Also various scholarships are available within college such as Alumni Scholarship and MahaDBT scholarship. Alumni scholarship provides students with expenses as well as laptop if required. While General category students have fees applied equal to amount of 1,35,000 and SC/ST students have fees 750. JEE score based admitted students have fees of 1,55,000 while NRI students need to pay in USD.

Campus Life

5

Excellent infrastructure of college with excellent facilities in all the departments. There are also around 50+ clubs in entire college based on different interests students can opt for any of them. We get to learn a lot also manage different portfolios in different fests. Improvements in communication skills, public relations is also observed

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facility provided for 45000 is quite decent. Improper facilities in washrooms is big concern and also they are not frequently cleaned which feels very unhygienic at times. No attention is given to any of the complaints. Also mess food is quite average and they do charge 750 service charge that feels to be too much monthly and we feels its quite unnecessary to get it from students.

Admission

I had COEP as my first choice of college and i received it in Round 1 of seat allotment. Except COEP i had only NIT and IIT in mind but could not get it due to sonewhat higher cutoff for specific branches that i was interested in. COEP has all seats filled on merit basis and has no management quota

Faculty

5

Faculties most of them are extremely cooperative and well versed except few of them as they show no cooperation and are very strict. There are faculties also who show favourism that's a matter of concern. There are 2 exams per semester mid term of 30 marks end sem of 60 marks and 10 marks are completely given by professor based on various factors such as tests, presentation etc
