A genuine talk on NIT Sringar

I am first year student of IT department. For first year students all subjects are common for all the branches which is relevant so that everyone have basic knowledge have every department. Also there are several workshops helding after an interval of time for exposure of new things .

Their are several internship opportunities in this college by some of alumini start-ups others from MSME and many more. On regular basis their are courses launching and message circulated in groups related ti internship But more opportunities of internship starts from 3rd year onwards.

After 3rd year students are eligible for placement in our college. Several companies come to this college for in campus placement. Recently there was 21lpa was highest package for CSE department. Average package of this college is 8 lpa.

Hii there, I am Sanskriti Pandey from NIT Srinagar pursuing my Btech in information technology department. Course fee is 1,65,000 and additionally if you are a hosteller then hostel fee per year will be 16000 and mess fee will be 40,000. Their is consession in fee for different categories also. For each semester students whose family annual income is more than 5 lakh and do not belong to SC/ST they have to pay 70,000 tution fee while for students with family income in between 1 to 5 lakhs they have to pay 31,333 rupees per semester. Their is biggest fest of NIT Sringar is Techvganza. Also all festivals are celebrated here wholeheartedly. Several other events like TEDX , Rang - ae- Chinar also takes place here. Library of NIT Srinagar is not much big and all the books are not available sometimes. Their is good opportunities in sports in NIT Srinagar. Their are several groups and clubs run by senior students here.

Their are seperate hostel for boys for every year students. But for girls their are no seperate hostels. Generally for forst year students their is 8 to 6 seater rooms are available. For second year 6 to 5 seater rooms are available. For third year girls their are 4 seater rooms. And for fourth year girls there are 2 seater rooms are available. Warden here are so understanding and they allot hostels after paperwork.

I have come to NIT Srinagar through JOSAA Councelling. I have chosen this college over other because here I got my preferred branch. Also I can't get other I wanted because of rank in mains This college gives admission to much lower rank. Also there is 50% quota reserved for Jammu and Kashmir students students which is so beneficial for them.

1:9 is the faculty to student ratio. Faculties are very sincere and friendly to students. Most of our faculties are Phd rank holders fr renowned institutions. One of our engineering physics faculty is among 2 percent scientists of the world. Their is less academic pressure than another institutions .
