- Academics,labs and research opportunities are plenty. The clubs are great and the senior culture is good
- Professors are passionate with great interest in their respective fields
- Facilities are plenty if you know how to grab them and peer group is good
Dislikes
- Discrimination against non karnataka students for some teachers
- Poor management in scheduling of events leading to a lot of confusion
- Not adequate holidays which are essential for students
Course Curriculum Overview
ECE curriculum is good, it being up to date with the industry is something I will know after graduating itself. The course is definitely interesting but I would definitely like an auditorium style classroom instead of traditional classroom. Difficulty level for ece is moderate as of now
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are plenty, if you are truly dedicated you can start writing research papers, articles and journals in the first year itself and get an internship by second year with the help of professors although it will become hectic
Placement Experience
Campus placements are great since they heavily focus on academics for ece average is 15.79 for 2024 with highest package of 36 lpa from ece I think. Most of the top branches have awesome placentas so that shouldn't be of any concern
Fees and Financial Aid
For ECE it is 2.8 LPA tuition fees per year and I think it goes down by a bit every year for ece mq it is 30-40 lakhs depends on various factors. Not aware of any scholarships since I am in first year.
Campus Life
Campus life itself gets more entertaining as the gears pass or so I've heard. If you are part of clubs then campus life will be exciting but the college itself doesn't provide any fests so you'll have to check that out for yourself
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is decent the newer hostels are better but a lot of the campus is undergoing renovation right now so after that is done I have high hopes for this college to finally fix its other problems. I myself have rented a PG and pg is great it's called stanza living and id recommend it over the hostel.
Admission
To be frank I didn't have a choice, I could have taken Coep but the packages here were great so I opted for here and the peer group is solid. The admission process is through comedk,kcet and mq if you've studied 11th and 12th decently you should be able to get in
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is decent, there are definitely enough faculty and most of the faculty are very aporoachable. Although some teachers are unnecessarily strict it's ok as long as you respect them. Although for sone teachers there is clear bias towards Kannadigas.
