there is so much room for improvement for this college that is techno India Salt Lake to be one of the best private colleges in Kolkata. They need to improve many things to even come close to those Government College standards.

This college follows MAKAUT(formerly known as WBUT) Course Curriculum. I would say, it's not the best, but still it's better than the lot out there. This college even has it's own Course Curriculum, which is not that popular and efficient though.

You will get placed if you are an average student. But those jobs won't satisfy you for long. The jobs are not fairly paid jobs. People tend to do their masters before joining a company. Techno offers you jobs in lesser know small companies to keep their self image of almost 100% placement.

Every month there is something or the other happening in the college. One can participate in one of the programmes. Different fests offers you the chance to show others what you got. You'll be provided with ample opportunities, to showcase yourself. Hope you grab any of those.

Mine was ?40k per semester (total 6 sems) for BCA(H). Other streams have different fee structure. ?50k admission fee. And other expenses they will ask you to pay. Exam fees are extra. Expensive in comparison to government colleges, obviously.

Techno India saltlake doesn't provide any other scholarship or loan facility that I know of . But you may try Googling one. If you find one just let us know. West bengal government has won search scholarship for students.

The labs at techno India University or college is not up to the mark. Especially the computer labs, they lack the infrastructure and resources to be a good lab. Techno India saltlake has a football ground where you can play any of the normal outdoor games like football cricket badminton. It has a library which has books but not all that you need to be an excellent bright student.

Techno provides hostel facility. For that you have to pay extra. Normally the hostels are near to the college centre. You have to pay the hostel fees along with the semester fees.the facilities and hostel infrastructure are almost similar to any other hostels around there.

Yes techno India Salt Lake to have an alumni network and of senior students.the alumi often becomes the professor of this college. You can get hold of one search network by talking to the HOD of your department.

Faculty members are decent. There's much room for improvement to reach the best standards set by other government colleges and universities. Faculty can be a bit more punctuation, strict. None the less, they are no doubt efficient in their respective fields.
