Internships Opportunities

2

Many companies like APTAR, ARIS0-E and GLOBIVA actively participated in this drive. They also participated with different companies Like, Insurance Dekho, Car Dekho, Air India Sats, APTARA to provides job and internships opportunities .

Placement Experience

2

According to my experience, I am eligible for internships/ placements after 1st year. I got an option for Training which includes Internships and placements in different companies like Insurance Dekho, Car Dekho, Air India SATS, APTARA etc. These companies offer jobs in many fields like, Health and Life Insurance Advisors, Tele Sales, Data Entry Operators, Customer Executives, Copy Editors and Technical Writer. After getting my degree, I plan to go for higher studies Like an MBA, MA etc It will help me to gain more knowledge and experience in my fields.

Fees and Financial Aid

Let's talk about the fee structure of the IGNOU BA (History) Program. There are no Tuition Fees and The fees submitted on yearly basis. The following are the Fees Structure (In Rupees): Ignou Yearly Fees: 4400 Ignou Exam Fees: 1600 (200 per Subject)

Campus Life

1

In my experience, I didn't attend any social events, technical events. They have a library in the main centre where student can get their books for their studies. There is no group social groups clubs in Ignou, That's why IGNOU college is not for everyone, It's for those who want distance learning.

Admission

This college was my second priority. I had taken the CUET Exam after completing my 12th. I got good scores on the CUET exam but it wasn't enough to get admission to good colleges after that I searched for new choices then I found IGNOU. It is a great college for people who want to do distance learning. It offers various types of courses with affordable fee structures. Ignou tied up with various central and private colleges to provide students with a better environment. It has the best faculties for various courses, For admission to Ignou, you have to fill registration form with required documents. Then you have to pay registration fees. Then I will take 30-45 days period to confirm your admission. After confirmation, you have to select your subjects and Regional Centre and Study Centre. Then You get you I'd Card and after some day you will get your course books.

Faculty

3

In my course, there are various faculties, each with a wealth of experience in their respective fields. The faculty-to-student ratio is quite decent, for example, 1 professor for every 50 students in a batch. I don't have enough information about faculties outside my program, but I can confidently say that the history and political science faculties stand out to me. They are not only highly experienced but also provide detailed and comprehensive explanations on every topic they teach. Moreover, their support and encouragement greatly contribute to a positive learning environment. There are annual exams that only cover 8 subjects, Before the exams, you have to submit assignments for each subject. I f you do not submit your assignment, you are not allowed to take the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It DU, so i think for many students it comes down to if you are able to make it to cutt off list. So my decision was based on it. I cleared the cutt off list for english hons so i took it. I wanted to make my way for govt job, so it was all about getting a degree regardless of what subject i was getting. I think curriculum just make you educated enough to get to know but its the college life that make you come face to face with the real world. exams every 6 months i.e every semester i think its good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really like Human Geography which let me to opt for this paper. Besides theory papers, we also have practical papers every semester through which we conduct surveys, interviews, research which helps us in preparing for the real world applications as well as further academic pursuits if we want to go in the field of Remote sensing or GIS. I feel that for papers including research or management, we should be showcasing how we can mitigate them or adapt in such scenarios and also make drafts for writing a research for further pursuits. However, as the time is limited it is quite understandable as to why its not conducted. We have two exams in a year and they are quite relevant and easy
