Internships Opportunities
College has CoE's in each department which provide year end internships to all students at an average fee. the internship is at par with the industry and a certificate is provided at the end of the internship.
Placement Experience
The placement statistics of this college is at the top, if not best, in Bangalore. The average package for each department has been stable and consistent and high. For Ece and Cse, the average has ranged between 10 to 15 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
there are 3 ways you can get into the college, through KCET, costing roughly 1Lakh per year; through COMEDK, costing roughly 2Lakh per year; and MANAGEMENT QUOTA, whose fees vary according to the Branch chosen. Scholarships are provided to separate quotas(other than GM) and also to students who are in the sports domain(sports quota).
Campus Life
The overall campus life has been pretty good, with equal focus on academics and fests and events, sponsored by multiple partners. Hostel life, that I have heard from peers is pretty good, and mess food is decent.
Admission
i chose this college as it was closer to home, commute was easier, and fees were, to an extent, lesser than the other options available to me. this college also had better average placement statistics than the other options I had
Faculty
students of a semester are divided into batches, and each batch is assigned a counselor, who help with college level issues and academic related issues. There is 1 teacher for every 20-25 students. There are a lot of faculties with a lot of experience, but not all can teach well. about 60% of the professors are good when it comes to teaching. the college has 3 internals, and 1 external final examination.
Other Applied Colleges
Manipal Academy of Higher Education - [MAHE] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electrical and Electronics Engineering)
RVCE was closer to home and lesser fees
