Course Curriculum Overview

4

I am pursuing BCom Hons in itself is very extensive. The course is relevant in the current scenario, covering subjects from accountancy, marketing, financial management and economics. Every student is taught seven subjects every semester which really adds a lot. We have ability and Ashwin courses and skill added courses value added courses which are really good in the current scenarios and we not only learn about our curriculum or the quotes, but also things that are beyond our curriculum. Such as case studies we learn about Digital empowerment. We learn things with regards to Emotional intelligence psychology so it is a very good course. Moving towards suggestion is that the examples of various business means or businesses or organisations that have grown in high numbers could be added in the course to be specific

Fees and Financial Aid

The total per year fees is 30,000rs and the admission fees is charged by Delhi University which comes around 6000rs and there are no other charges. Also there are many scholarships that are available for students belonging to EWS/OBC/SC/ST category

Campus Life

4

The overall experience in Srcc has been a mix of emotions and ups and downs in the first year. It was very hectic and the societies and the clubs of the colleges are very very active. We have 51 clubs in the college and saw all societies are very engaged. The competitive environment in the societies. Do help you flourish and give you a glimpse of the corporate world. When I talk about making a social for making friends or best friends. It is difficult, but in the second year, it becomes quite adaptive, and you tend to make friends, and you learn that they are not forever. Various events largest annual fest in whole of Du with budget with budget around one00,00,000 rupees

Admission

so Shri Ram College of commerce is known as Asia's best college of commerce and it is India's number one college of commerce. It has an acceptance rate as low as 0.5% and the cut-off for the college is minimum 99.5 percentile and I gave CVTUG 2023 to Shri Ram College of commerce given its brand value. It's Internship , its average annual package. It is far and exceeds any other college in India. The faculty is the best and it is mainly focused on commerce itself offering just two undergraduate courses that is BCom and economics honours, although I did got selected to various other colleges also such as Christ universities, Saint Xavier's and Aubin College of commerce in Ludhiana, Punjab, but Srcc has its own vibe, its own value. That is why I chose it

Faculty

so Shri Ram College of commerce has the highest number of commerce faculty in any college. The faculty is very trained and experienced. You have teacher who have studied from prestigious institutions. The faculty in terms of teachers or staff members are really approachable and they do consider your points upcoming to exam point of you. There are actually a semester exams only in SRCC. There are no Messi exam take place and semester exams are conducted by The University and the question paper is also provided by the Delhi University itself and the marking and checking of papers take place of by the faculty of Delhi University as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are decent but not very high compared to North Campus colleges.Students usually become eligible for placements in the final year with decent cgpa and good skills. Some companies visit the campus for roles in sales, marketing, finance and HR. The average package is moderate and only a limited percentage of students get placed through campus. Many students prefer internships during college to gain experience and earn extra money. Some also plan for higher studies like MBA or prepare for competitive exams which I also do I personally plan to gain work experience first, earn some money and then go for higher studies. Overall, placements are average but hopefully they will increase in future.

Placements are quite well . Most of the students are placed with the average package of 4-5 LPA . Companies like KPMG , Deloitte, Pwc and many more come to college and offer students. And with the time the placement cell of the college also conduct an event regarding placement and intership which approaches around 200-250 companies to come and give an opportunity to our students.

The highest package of my college is 36 lakh per annum from bcom H programme. The placement is very nice from my collegem the average package is 6.7 lakh per annum and the median package is around 8 lakh per annum which is very good in my views. But if the students is not focusing in his academic then no college can give him placement, it's just a exception. The students become elegible for placements after 2nd year and before 3rd year basically they just got PPO that is preplacement offer. Bain & co. , de shaw , Accenture , oyo, Swiggy.
