What Students Say
Likes
- The best thing about the college is The Bhagat Singh Statue.
- The Library is impressive too as it has vast collection of books and materials.
- The classrooms are fairly spacious and comfortable too.
Dislikes
- The ongoing construction going on from 1year.
- The canteen is overpriced and not very good in terms of food quality.
- There is no indoor auditorium and seminar rooms are small.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is latest after introduction of NEP and has been practical oriented since then. We have to study different practical subjects every semester like Negotiation and Leadership, Personality Development, Cyber Security, Sports,Etc. These help to prepare for real world experience.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided mostly in 3rd year by the college or students can get one on their own easily too.The roles offered are HR, Marketing, Sales, Research, Accounts, etc. Projects are unknown to me right now.
Placement Experience
Placements are above average here. But mostly students of bcom and bcom hons get placements at job roles like sales, marketing, hr, research, etc from recruiters like GT, L&T, WIPRO, OYO, etc. The average package is 6.5 lpa and highest one is 21lpa this year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees, I feel is very affordable but it has increased over the years. The yearly fees is 15,675 for all students. If a student is not able to afford, he/she could fill up the STUDENT AID FUND in the first year. From 2nd year onwards, students of different categories can claim for refund according to their categories.
Campus Life
There are 1-2 fests conducted by college in a year. There are a lot of societies which conduct events of their own. The library is vast in terms of space as well as book collection. The classes are not equipped with smart boards, but we often have lectures in seminar rooms which are fully equipped. Sports is there but ground is under repair since 1 year.
Admission
I had to choose this college because my score in CUET was relatively low and cutoff of DU colleges was high but this college is best evening college in DU and it even beats some morning colleges. It is really worth it to join if you want to study and not want fests and all.
Faculty
The faculty is well trained and well managed. They are very supportive except for some. The exams are conducted only once every semester. But, continuous assessment goes on throughout the year. The exams are student friendly and relatively easy.
