Remarks

It is a very nice university but we cannot get out of university before 4 pm which is a bad point even if we are ill ,the guards stop us and we have to apply for gatepass which takes hours to get approved

Course Curriculum Overview

We have 8 semesters and in which we have 3 sessionals and 1 final exams . Out of 3 st we have to clesr minimum 2 And have to clear aal the other test.

Placement Experience

Placements are really good. Very good companies come here for placements and almost all the students get placed in either of the company

College Events

Many festivals like holi diwali valentines day lohri and many more like science day water day etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is a bit expensive but keeping in mind their curriculum and all the things that it is a private university .its ok

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are good in sports or academic then there are a lots of scholarship opportunity .eg if you are the rank holders in our university then you get a full fee refund at the end of the year

There are many extra curricular activities like sports fests etx, There is a large emphasis on the leadership skills so to create that university regularly provides with various events and fests to take take part in or organise

There is a strong network of alumni of chitkara they have created a coding club and regular alumni meets are organised time to time

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Life at Panjab University

In our college students need to have 6CGPA to still in campus placements and our college have a Club that overseas all the placement oppertunityies and the placement starts from 7th semester onwards when students starts there seventy semester the company's starts visiting campus for placement and internship opportunity as well

Saga of my life

Placement Experience:

Yes,very good college placements are available in our college.Students of 8 semester that is 4th year students are eligible for campus placement Companies such as TCS,wipro,amex,gemini solutions and etc many more companies are there for placement 60-80% students got placed in the companies with an average package of 8 lakhs and with a highest package of 35 lakhs Iam oriented towards govt jobs and in future if I will be interested in coding sector I will do preparation for off campus and specifically for Rubrik

Placement Experience:

Placement do occur in the college. It's average package is around 7.5, lakh. Since I am the first year right now, I don't have data to support the placement record, but some of my seniors of fourth year are getting placed. One of my IT senior got placed for 14 LPA and other other, my Cse senior got placed for around 12 LPA. so opportunities are there for those who want to do something

Placement Experience:

We have avergae package of 12 lpa and 57lpa highest, i am not aware of how mqny placed. As such i have plan to get placed but if things didnt go out as planed then mba or mtech maybe. Our campus just opened recently so there is no much information but our placements are central that means, companies visting mumbai have to visit us too, and u can refer mumbai campus placement for our campus because its counted on central level and not varries campus to campus

Honest insider review - Chitkara University, Punjab

There was no such entrance exam sort of thing. they were just expecting a minimum percentage in the boards examination that too was very low to be honest. i didnt found such difficulty for the admission process as i had scored good marks in the 12th board. The application form was available on the official website of the university. The fees has been increased the last time i toook admission. It took 162,000 for 1 yr of college fees. No reservation benifits were availed by me being a GENERAL. Overall, the admission process was easy i found no diificulty. Although, they can improve the communication hrough the intermediater who accepted my form and took me thorugh the admission process. as it was online, i found some difficulty in communicating with themaslso havinng some misunderstandings with them.....Read More
