Course Curriculum Overview
As gurudas college is very old college it has many history related to it. As I know there are good quality education is given I choose here . If they can add more practical classes and can arrange more realife influencial person for interview session for students to gain knowledge directly from them it canbe beneficial.
Fees and Financial Aid
Gurudas college is under Calcutta University and the fee is 8k annually As per facilities every teachers are very much cooperative and friendly. They clear all your doubts. All books related to course available in library. Campus is well maintained, College location is also a good location. Here many competition are held you can also join various committees. Here per semester you have to pay the range between 4k to 6k varies but in journalism or other department it can go up. You can avail any government scholarship from here. Not only b.com but here ba, b.sc all the facilities are very good.
Campus Life
Wide books are available in the college library and if they don't have one you can tell one of the librarian they will arrange that book within a week. Annual sports function is held between January to February. For b.com students specially Business plan competition is held between September to October.
Admission
I 1st applied here and got selected here so I don't apply for any other colleges. The admission process was smooth, i applied for the college after the admission process was closed, a list was accepted students came and I was selected.
Faculty
My experience with the facilities are very good. There is Sumana lama mam she is very kind and approachable also teaches very good. Then Uddipto sir , Tanima mam and my another favourite teacher Kaushik paul sir he was an angel for my last project work , he worked really hard to ensure every student have the best project with them. I like every teacher so their is no name and no reason to not like them. There are 2 main exams are help 1 is internal and 1 is external as our syllabus is going to change maybe there will be a change in exam pattern. If any student fail or can't attend the internal exam they always can reappear in the examination.
