Likes

The cool atmosphere and calm nature which heal our mind.it makes us to think in a different way . Like thinking outside the boxes. Students are very disciplined also they are serious about their studies also they help us for our subjects .
The phd professors and discipline. Teachers are very friendly to children . They support for their students. They are like the door to success .also college gives well formed libraries for children. Trips are planned very well that beyonds the day 7
Celebrations are the most attractive and fabulous thing here in college . Every students in our college likes to join the Celebration because our seniors brings the celebrities like bibin jeorge , muslie , vocal dude for smaller celebrationss........

Dislikes

The thing i disliked is not much but also every college and universities have their own pros and cons . Like same way the thing i disliked here is infrastructure
Infrastructure is poor like not a building but a big wide blocks of buildings
Everybody have their own imagination about their college and mine was building blocks with much space but here it is wider

Course Curriculum Overview

The time that ktu gives is very limited and short and teachers have to face the deadline with short period of time . Same way children's do suffer through it. And they really do as their own to face the real world. They brought a new 2 courses to face the world with boldness like ls and cad And the course available here is very limitted in kerela and polymer technology engineering is the one which is available only here in this college

Placement Experience

There are many companies like tata motors etcc And campus placement is from year 3 and 4 Also internships are also included V. V. V.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee i paid in a year is 40000 It is like 20000 for a semester and there is no other tution fee or extra fees Lab and library are free And also sc st donot have fees here Also this is an ihrd college Management seats are by spot admission Management students and NRI all have same fee no extra fees

Campus Life

Campus life is really good and have a good experience with this Their cultural activities are good also this is a management and government college so it drives the vibe of other top colleges like cet s .

Hostel Facilities

Accommodation and food is not that good like every other colleges they provide in hostel and many are not satisfied with this . But it is easy and quick to move with it. Rent and all are very low like 5000 per month and also the current bills

Admission

The exam i wrote was keam and it was awfull And i needed a course that was not available in limited fee in other colleges so i chosed this college Becoz it was really an opportunity for me to study here with less amount

Faculty

Course curriculum is quite easy like the way we spent time for it. I like the facilties coz they clear doubts as soon as possible and help too They are professionals They teaches everything like we just dont want to refer any other

Interview Experience

Yes . The examination i attempted to get into this college was kerela engineering entrance examination. And also there was a face to face questions from Principal which was easy to appear. And she was a well educated and personalised person

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.
