our college managent is very poor, they will not respond quickly for any issue

Course Curriculum Overview

our curriculum was somewhat better but we need better curriculum for more knowledge. our curriculum was not sufficient in this competitional world. so, i suggest improvement is needed in our curriculum. our curriculum is somewhat good but it must change for better knowledge

Placement Experience

placement in our college is very low. only two members got job in placement last year. any internships are not conducted in our college

College Events

Any technical festivals was not conducted in our college. But cultural festivals are celebrate every year once in our college.farewell and fresher's festivals are celebrated in our college. any technical fests will not conduct in our campus, they didn't concentrate on that.

Fee Structure And Facilities

i will get fees reimbursement by govt,i want to pay 5000 DD and exam fees. it is university, so we don't bother about fees and it is feasible. there is no other fees in our college and in our university also. it is not expensive, it is feasible to all the students

i didn't opted for any other scholarship or education loan. iam only applied scholarship for fees reimbursement

Campus Life

our college life is good but poor in education because of contract based faculty in our college and moreover any extra curriculars are not conducted in our campus. labs are also poor in our campus. i suggest that govt staff should be provided to our campus for better education

Hostel Facilities

our university hostel was good, but it have poor security. our hostel has security guards but our campus hostel didn't have any CC camera. i suggest that CC camera's are must in campus hostel for better security

Network in college is good.in seniors, some of they are helpful and some of them are not helpful and maintain attitude

I got seat thourough ecet in telangana, i opted this college as it is university and for better faculty.iam interested in software, so, i opted cse course. iam joined in this college on 20/07/2019 thourough ecet counselling, i submitted all my certificates in counselling

Faculty

we are contact in WhatsApp with faculty, average age of faculty is in between 25 to 35,they completed Mtech. they have about 7 years of experience in teaching. they didn't hold any relevant industry. they are experts in subjects but they are not interested in providing clarity about the subject

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Main companies visiting the campus are IBM , TCS ,TATA ELXSI,L&T, Cognizant,Toshiba,Vanenburg,Kalkitech,Sobha,Mrf ,Juspay,Dynolt and many more. 70 % students get placement Highest package is 16 lpa and average is 5 lpa After degree higher studies can be considered.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.
