Course Curriculum Overview

1

I was forced to take this course because of a faculty member i met on the day of admissions. The curriculum does not prepare you for real life applications you need additional training for that. The course curriculum is a complete mess cause of the university and teaching methods of teachers are average. Frequency of exam can be considered normal but the difficulty on some exams are not what teachers or syllabus prepare you for.

Internships Opportunities

2

Keltron is company under Kerala government who offers internship for students without any stipend . Other companies could be selected by students themselves. Projects done during the academic years can be used for internships in companies and even for small startups

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a general category student and i hot admission on merit so i have to pay an annual fee of Rs.35000. For students opting for NRI quota the fee becomes RS.50000 per year. For SC/ST students there is no fee and an egrand scholarship facility is available

Campus Life

3

The annual and technological fest taking place are only a few. There are a far variety of books and journals in the library enough for the entire college. College supports sports and extra curricular activities well. Clubs and groups are also present.

Admission

I got my admission on merit during the allotment process. My first option was this college, so i chose to go here. My other option was Amaljyothi college of engineering. I did not chose to go there was because of distance between the college and my house was a problem. So i had to rely on hostel . Therefore i fixed the college i got allotted.

Faculty

2

Faculty to student ratio is 20:80 percentage on each department.Almost all the faculty members in the electrical department are likeable cause of the support and friendship they provide for students . Faculty members of CS department have higher ego issues and treat students as such. There is an average of 6 theroy exams and 2 labs exams in semester for 8 semesters. Almost 60 percentage of students fail to clear the exams. Core subjects are more relevant compared to open elective courses.

Night Life

1

Nightlife in college is strictly prohibited. No student is allowed in the college after 6 pm. Anyway students used nearby city called muttom as their hangout place . Others with mobility choose thodupuzha as their spot.
