Course Curriculum Overview

Numerous subjects and challenging courses. Various subjects and tools are taught which opens us to a new world and challenge us . Various technology are taught and each semester the subjects are changed and core subjects as well as new tools are taught.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 2000000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships oppurtunities are available from 3rd semester and there are many tech socities which recuirt members for building projects. Oncamous placements and internships are available fron 5th semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

Kiit fees structure consists of tution fees, mess and hostel fees. Tutuion fees is 1.75 lakh and mess and hostel fees included is 50000 for esch semester and there are totla eight semesters. This fees is for cse bastch 2022-26.

Campus Life

Campus life is very good and very green and infrastructure is very good. There are aminities are gy, swimming pool, couts for sport like indoor and playgrounds. Socities conduct recuirtments every year and joining them is beneficial.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are available. Boys are alotted King's palace(KP) and girls are alotted Queen's palace(QC) and there are many options like three bedded two bedded ,ac ,non-ac or premium rooms. Hostel have mess where you will get four time food and it is very hygenic.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

I always wanted a college where they provide good placements and it should be not far from my home state . Since i am from west Bengal so it is the nearest good college for cse with good placements so i choose this college. The atmosphere is also good according to other colleges. More diversity and understanding between studnets . Good infrastructure.

Faculty

Teachers are very friendly, highly qualified and supportive. Some of them are strict in giving attendance and internal marks. Course consists of eight semesters and after completion of two semester(year) you geta abreak of three months. Each smesters have midsems and endsems and internals before midsems and endsems of labs as well as theory classes. Each subject total marks is 100 marks and 30 marks are internal where each subject have soecific credit or weightage in sgpa.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . The exams are not so frequent and the papers can be rated as moderate

KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
