Likes

I liked the courses and the syllabus. They were nicely planned
The concept of WIT and WILL was also impressive.
The lab curriculum was well prepared and maintainance was nice.

Dislikes

No physical education teacher provided in the college.
No awareness of what is happening in the college
Cutting of the holidays to complete the syllabus.

Course Curriculum Overview

The concept of WIT and WILL was the best part in the curriculum. The faculty need to tell the students about what they are teaching and what the students are learning. The exams will be held for every two months. More interactive fisplay of the class need to be made available.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 132000 per year

Placement Experience

Student will start getting placed from the 7th semester. Many projects were made by student in the three years of engineering. Many MNC's like Jp morgan, amazon, google etc are visited. The highest package goes around 50Lpa where the lowest goed for around 1-2 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee per year was 132000 as i am an sc student and got into this college i have claimed a full fee reimbursement from the government. So i dont need to pay any tuition fee every year. But there is miscellaneous fee that every student need to pay which is around 7000 for me.

Campus Life

We have mainly two festivals in the campus . One is the technical fest named convergence and the other festival is the cultural festival named scintillations. The were both held around the end of the and year and in the month of april simultaneously. We have a projector and a speaker provided in every class.

Admission

I have applied to all the top colleges in telangana as i am an eamcet student and got a good rank. Got placed in kmit in first phase and now at vnrvjiet. As for why i choose this college over this had a good placements and better infrastructure. Admission process is as regural as every college. Go through the process of eamcet counseling.

Faculty

As for the faculty the are friendly and approachable. Not all of them are friendly. Especially my faculty were nice to the students and made an approachable environment. Not many students fail in the exams. There were three main exams two of them were sessional and one is semester end exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I felt that entire curriculum needs to be changed, since there are many useless subjects that are irrevalant to software engineering in CSE. I also felt subjects like c,c++, java needs to be replaced with python and web development subject should be replaced with something like nextjs. Initially I thought the syllabus and curriculum was good untill 3rd year of my Btech degree. The curriculum of jntuh is outdated in terms of real world. Teaching methods are ok though it needs minor improvements in some areas. The frequency of exams is same, you get semester exams and supply exams , you will have more chances to clear you backlogs, my advice is to clear backlogs in same year or try not getting any backlogs in engineering. timing of exams is usually after every 6 months out of which we usually have 180 or more working classes days. And in between we get sundays, holidays,events and other things. Semester exams are difficult especially subjects like mathematics or electronic subjects like ADE, which is irrelavant to CS.

Absolutely unsatisfied because of faculty and lack of placements.

Placement Experience:

Right Iam in 7 th semester ending,no company came to our college to recruit us.May be in 8 th sem companies will come.My seniors got in some companies like TCS, Infosys,Capgemini etc..with an average of 3.6 lpa.And all students did not get placed just 10 students in each class got placement.We need more placements to satisfy the students.

The world inside GRIET

Placement Experience:

After the third year or 6th Semester you can take part in placements. There has been a lack of companies visiting this year. So far Infosys, accenture, cognizant, LSEG, Verisk have come for placements. The details are unknown to all the people but the highest package yet has been around 16-20 LPA. The Percentage of students getting placed is less compared to previous years around 20-30%

Detailed review of VNR VJIET

I did chose this college because it is highest rated EAMCET college in Telangana. Vnr when compared to others is far better in curriculum and placements.the addmission process starts atound Feb of every year. There is also management quota . The only other college applied is cbit . I did not get the seat for my rank . The admission process is of three ways. One sis EAMCET exam and the other is jee mains percentile ( b cat) and the last one is nri quota also called as management quota.
