Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course structure offered at JSS Noida is quite up to date particularly concerning students studying Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Information Technology (IT). This is why a lot of students pursue these courses because they are more market-oriented with subjects such as AI and Data Science which is very contemporary.

Placement Experience

2

The placement record for JSS Noida from 2020 to 2023 has been impressive, with a 92% placement rate. In 2023, 620 out of 898 students were placed, and the median salary was ?5.69 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Amazon, Infosys, HCL, and Accenture. The placement percentage and salaries have shown steady improvement, reflecting the college’s focus on industry readiness

Campus Life

1

Campus life is not that great, yes you have a decent campus size of something 20-30 acres of land size and few sports available, but the cause of the uniform college life is pretty ruined here. There are many societies like Verve which is the music, and GDGonCampus is a technical society of Google, similarly many with specific branch-related societies are present too. We have our annual fest named Zealicon which people come and enjoy, sadly no big names have participated here. In classrooms you'll find no Air conditioners, the bathrooms are not cleaned, sometimes the water will run out and many problems you'll face, hence No campus life can be enjoyed if you can handle these struggles.

Admission

I chose this college cause I didn't have that many options left. And one of the main reasons people choose this college is the cause of its location. You can easily travel to Electronic City, Gurgaon, and Delhi via the metro it's very convenient. I always kept JSS as my top priority over other AKTU colleges for the same reason LOCATION. The admission process at JSS Academy of Technical Education (JSSATE) Noida is primarily based on the JEE Main exam. Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and they need at least 45-50% aggregate marks, depending on their category.

Faculty

3

There is no correct ratio to be known in this case But you can understand you'll have 2-3 teachers per subject and as said there are more than 200+ students in my branch so, the ratio is poor but not that bad. The faculties are mostly strict. My favorite is Shardul Sir who teaches programming languages to the first year. We have monthly sessional exams named CIA's of 20 marks (generally the first CIA is easy) there are 3 CIAs in 1 semester in which the teachers will take 2 best of three CIA's. These exams have a role in internal marks that is of 30(20 of CIAs and the rest 10 is of attendance and assignments) The semester exams are for 70 marks (which are tough actually) The passing mark is 21 out of 70 but in 100 you have to score 40+. My personal opinion is always focused on your skill enhancement more than the curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jims is a ipu college, so yeah curriculum depends entirely on ipu University. First year is similar for all btech courses. Or is easy to earn marks in lab and soft skill subjects but maths or physics is hard. Your 12th basics should be very good, else these two subjects will affect your overall SGPA badly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is good of btech but there there is only thing I don't like is that in btech course the subjects in first year are not related to career of students because there is physics, chemistry other irrelevant subjects present in first year but in second year the course become interesting and relevant. Curriculum is good and prepare well for real world applications. The exams comes frequently every month there is a class test but class tests are moderate on the basis of there difficulty level.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly speaking I don't like the curriculum of my college. Everything is same which people studied 20 years ago . Only few things has been changed and I don't understand why we need to study about things which don't have any existence in reality. They should focus on current tech and provide more learning opportunities in AI.

course curriculum is little bit out-dated, and improvements are needed in terms of syllabus. timing of exams are ok ok. so many assignments are given which is really hectic because their are deadlines to upload those assignments in google classroom. and one thing i hate about college is 75% attendence is must. due to this we do not get much time for our personal development.
