jss academy of technical education , noida sector 62 review

i choosed cse(DS) because i have always been interested in how data shapes our world and how technology can be used to solve real world problems.i was also attracted to the fact that data science is one of the fast growing field. teachers teach using old study methods like making students make notes and getting checked and explaining all topics in class but i think it should be like taking ppt on topics from students and making them present in class so that he does not fail to learn that thing and other students will also improve their ppt making skills as it is required in upcoming sector of their job or in startup field also. the frequency of exams are quiete nice i mean our cia 1 are on 9 oct and cia 2 are on 24 nov and end sem are around 1 december to 31 december as told till now .

as i am not involved in any internship programme . so, i cannot tell exactly but yeah many upper level companies offer intership for jss noida students like internshala, onetick technologies,ARAI and ansys,etc.

placements are good in jss noiida specially in core branches like cse,it. strudents become eligible for internship from 5th semester . many companies like infosys, amazon, coognizant,wipro visit the campus.

per year fees for btech in jssaten is 137850 exactly as of 2025 tution fees is 112850 per year security 8000 rupee of 4 years book bank sceme 5000 of 4 years wifi fee 6000 of 4 years miscellaneous fee 1000 each year e-journal online subscription 3000 each year accidental group insurance 500 each year lab manuals 500 each year personality developement fee 1000 per year registration fee 1000 each year i am not opting any scholarship that's why i have no idea about that

one event named zealicon is held at jss noida at major , it is of 3 days. it is very huge event and includes all types of things like dance competiotion, dance evening, games ,etc. otherwise many events are held in jss noida other than zealicon. library has vast range of books and journals in library and a student can easily access that thing from library . jss noida is more active in sports than in academic i think .

hostel room is also pretty good according to their fees i mean they are providing good mess food and clean room and big almerah and big study table and a chair and a pretty good space to live . hostel menu and food are too good on comparing with outside hostels and pg's. To get hostel you have to come to college on first day of your aktu reporting as seats are limited here and boys hostel affordibility is nice . if you did not got college hostel, then you can find many other hostels and pg's near the college only around 700-800 metres in sector 58 .

i chose this college over other colleges as because of its hype of being no.1 private college of aktu and having best location among other colleges. comparing roi, avg package, highest package, campus area ,hostel life of all colleges that i was getting , i preferred jss noida .the addmission process in jss was quiete easy and helpful but college hostel seats are limited and you have to come to college in first 2-3 hours of addmision to get boys or girls hostel in jss noida.

the faculty to student ratio in jss noida is pretty decent , i mean in core branches they take high number of students and but they divide them into 80-80 students so that is matched.the faculties are easy to approach and help us when in need and they are maintaining a good relationship with us . the faculties which i liked are mohit chauhan sir (assistant professor)- because he is such a genuine and helpful person and he answers our questions so nicely. course curriculum is old type like aktu one .

jss noida is at a prime location in noida sector 62. all facilities are accessible here . gym are also here like ms gym, extreme gym, muscle village gym and many other. cafeterias and cafes can be found very easily here . hostel gate closes at 11 pm and opens at 4 to 5 am. campus main gate closes at 10pm and opens at same 4-5 am inside the college there is only one cafeteria which is not so good but yeah food theire is pretty good and hanging spots near collge are many like shipra mall, chai sutta bar , and many other.
