Brutal and honest review of jss college

Placement statistics of course made me inclined towards this course moreover IT department is very chill and supportive towards the students so it makes easy to interact with the teachers. Teachers need to make things practical rather than theoretical by displaying on projectors than physical boards. It is need to be corrected as soon as possible.

Placement statistics are average. TCS and Accenture mainly but you can apply off campus Highest package of 2024 is 21 lacs and average is 4 lacs. Percentage of student getting placed is around 40 percent. My plans after getting out of this college are going abroad for doing mba.

For first year it is 137000 irrespective of course taken but in second year it is 119700 moreover talking about scholarship it is based on 12th marks it is around 50000 approx for eligible candidates. Registration fees-1000 Examination fee- 7000 Scholarship including is govt scholarship which is provided by college but you have to be careful with your documents .

Theree is only one fest which is a tech fest in a year called zealicon takes place. Social aspcts are not good after getting here. Academically it is more focussed but socially it sucks. Library is really good and have ac throughout the space and you can acess library anytime during 7 to 8pm . Extracurricular activities are music and dance clubs and sports like volleyball, cricket and basketball and Badminton???? etc

Hostel lifw is not so good . Food quality is average they provide 4 times food ( breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner) There are many options nearby college like women's hostel and many more. Facilities in room include a bed, table, chair, almirah that's it

Talking about fees it is much less than other collges and placement is also goood and hostel food and timing is really good compared to other colleges. And i didn't get rejected from other collges but fees was high so i opted for this collge. Admission procedure was through uptac counselling through jee mains exam and i scored 90 percentile and got IT branch cuz cse cutoff was high.

Faculty is almost very supportive. If you have doubts regarding studies or anything they'll solve them and there is quite a big staff. I really liked evs faculty during first year and I'm still in touch with him his name is bishnukant sir he's quite supportive and friendly. The faculty i disliked is pps faculty she was rude and did not interactive so i didn't like her. Overall faculty was good. Exam patttern includes three internal tests 20 marks each and sem exam of 70 marks each. And it is mandatory to have 75% criteria to be appear in these exams.
