Likes

Location of the college is great.There are many IT companies nearby.
Nice infrastructure. It has large ground for children's to play.
Huge library with different varities of books.

Dislikes

Library timing is limited and also it remain close of holidays
No air conditioner in classrooms. And also there is no step class
College doesn't provide funds for extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very old and out dated. College is not doing anything to update it in order to come at equal pace with Artificial intelligence and Data Science. Some of irrelevant subject still exist like soft skill and evs

Campus Life

There is no as such great great college life. There are 24 societies but only few of them are worth entering. College doesn't provide good amount of fund to societies for there betterment. Some of the sports team are very good.

Hostel Facilities

There are not much seats for boys in hostel. Hostel infrastructure for boys us quiet nice. They have clean washroom. It's difficult to get AC rooms. Less than 100 seats for 1st year boys for AC. Most of girls get the hostel.

Admission

I took this college just because of its location.I got 95.6%ile in jee and got IIIT Nagpur but left it as it was at outskirts of Nagpur. I got this college from AKTU counseling but people can also get it through management

Faculty

Faculty is not much qualified.Only few teachers are phd holders. There are three CIA for internal and end semester exam for external. With lab practicals in every semester. 30 marks are decided by internal and 70 by external

i would rate the course curriculum as moderately relevant and avg in comprehensiveness . it covers core subjects and includes labs , which helped me choose jobs and further studies through it lacks depth in newer technologies. exams are held twice per sem plus internals and they are generally manageable if you study regularly

Bennett University worth or not ???

Placement Experience:

Placements in Bennett University need a lot of improvement. The average package for B.Tech CSE is 8 LPA, and the highest is claimed to be around 1 crore, which was not on campus. Companies do visit here, including the big ones like Scaler etc. The major issue is the students. Students here are not skilled enough to bag the good packages companies have to offer. Around 300 students sit for the placements out of 3000 and out of these, around 40% of them get placed. The placements start in 7th semester.

From 7th semester every student is applicable for college palcement. Companies like TCS , INFOSYS , HCl , AMAZON etc.90% students get placement from college placement. Highest package of this college is 16 lacks and average package is 7 lacks. My plans after getting the degree to get well placement in my dream company.

Good Faculty but not so good placement

Placement Experience:

Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, Adani are the top recruiters here but many other companies also visit here. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology has its own dedicated placement cell other than Central placement cell of University of Lucknow. Approximately 70% students at placed in every batch with a median package of 3.5 LPA, and Highest package of 12 LPA.

Brutal and honest review of jss college

Talking about fees it is much less than other collges and placement is also goood and hostel food and timing is really good compared to other colleges.
