Course Curriculum Overview

2

The specific aspect for me choosing my course is analysing what the future have more demand of like 10 to 15 years next thinking about it and choosing the field. The curriculum for our batch is like updated because from the next match that is our juniors they have new education policy 2020 but we don't have this policy so we are updated and we are just learning things that are fathers have learnt which is basically not good for students like us because in this world we are advance in artificial intelligence and this should be aspect of importance. Areas for improvement is that the college should focus on the recent development and happenings in technology and should make student also aware of this.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees I pay is 13314 because I come under category of OBC and according to Maharashtra state government this is the fee that I paid this year. These are the amount of particular fees I paid for this year Tuition fees- 0 Admission fees- 9000 Exam fees- 3000 Caution - 1314

Campus Life

3

There are annual fest in our college the first phase called sfoorti. This annual event is a sports event that happens at end of our ear it gives chance to student for play games play for his branch and give his good. It helps in overall development of a personality it helps improving teamwork coordination with team and problem solving skills for future. The second test is called Oranz. It is cultural paste which is after sfoorti. It again provide stage to a student who are good in dancing singing or have any other talent. There a student can come in front of everyone helps to reduce his stage fear, improve his communication skill which is necessary for campus interviews or even for getting in company and speaking with other employees and Boss. Then there are clubs according to the branch of a particular student the clubs focuses on the main thing of the branch like for mechanical branch there is club called automobile as the automobile club focuses more on how a motor or engine works in a automobile and also there are many other clubs for other branches focusing on their main focus of area. Then comes Student welfare community under which the coordinates for NCC NSS and any other different extra curriculum activities if a student wants to do he can just contact to Student welfare community and get enrolled with what he or she wants.

Admission

The first and foremost thing for choosing this college then other over call is like many students like me who belongs to middle class cannot give 1 to 2 lacks per year for private college so choosing this government college is good in terms of financial. Second thing is that it gives us a tag of that we are graduated from Government and if in a future any one of us want to apply for government job it will help us getting the job bit more than others. The admission process of my college it is completely based on your marks in CET exam. The percentile a student got and then he is rank according to his percentile. Then the college will display a minute merit list according to the percentiles and cutoff of the respective branch. If a student have particular percentile which feet into cut off office branch is required branch he will be able to get that branch easily also if he comes under category like OBC your SCST he will he will have benefit of reservation and will you able to get his required branch.

Faculty

The faculty of this college we can say is pretty good. In first year for some branches there are chances that they may get some teachers late as there visiting faculty or they may not be as good as other teachers in their teaching skills but if a student will manage he study because the syllabus of 1st year is matching with his 11th and 12th so he will be able to get good marks and clear his first and second sem and the faculties of 2nd year is pretty good as compared to first year from 2nd year we start it to learn more about our own branch like mechanical civil or e n t c . Permanent faculty teaches regular classes are happening everyday. The faculty liking and not liking is first of all not view because some teachers are good teachers and some teachers are we can see not that much good as a student want but if a student will push himself in the subject of the teacher he don't like he will be able to manage disliking of his teacher. There are class test held three times in a same but focusing on one or two units every time and it gives us writing practice for semester papers. Overall experience is good some work from teacher site some work comes toide making a proper schedule following it studying it giving properly Class test papers and regularly maintaining attendance in classes also enjoying the College fest and enjoying with friends will keep us student happy focus on study and overall great experience.

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources
