The eligibility criteria for the PGP program at IIM Shillong require candidates to hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% in both 10th and 12th grades. Admission is facillitated through the CAT score,with the exam taking place in the month of November every year. Application forms are available from August. Applicants can apply for all IIMs ,including IIM Shillong through CAT form. As a General category candidate, I did not avail any reservation benefits. Notably , IIM shillong assigns a 15% weightage to work experience , and my direct offer was based on an evaluation of 85%. I cleared the CAT and applied for all the IIM'S including CAP which Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta. Lucknow, Kozhikode, Shillong, and all the 10 IIM's which come under CAP and also the 4 baby IIM's and out of the colleges mentioned I was able to clear Shillong all the Cap's and the baby IIM'S and the reason for joining Shillong were many and to name a few A better Alum Base. Better Placements. College was older. The reputation of the college. Tackling with the Alumnis. I had the SC Quota through which I got the required admission and they check. The admission criteria was a Case Bases GD and also in addition there is no such thing as minimum marks as the admission process has a very big weightage given to the interview so there is no lower limit to the marks you would have to enter the college.
