Good organise staff, Good Mentorship from the inside team
Great Study pattern, Exams were good, Mentorship

Dislikes

Bad Communication, No proper support, No Online classes,
No proper management, No study technique, No personal touch by anyone in studies.
Physical books are given just to lure the students. No Proper support on calls.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the course because after hotel management i was looking for an online MBA and fortunalely i met with some one in my friend and he suggested me to do the same. Faculty was good. But no online or any classes. Timings of the term exams were good.

Class Size: 800Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees was good but on a high scale as on that time many colleges were giving the same at lower fees. And online classes. Also there was no jonb assistance from the college. The faculty didnt help the same.

Campus Life

Cant describe the life at campus as its was online. The books was given physically at my doorstep after every semester. No library access. Also there was separate charge was levied on the fees for physical books which were not told.

Admission

The admission process was good. I had first given an entrance exam. On the basis of my examination i was selected. After the exam i some how manage to appear for the next process. Elegibilty was you need to pass the graduation exams. The application form i searched online. The examination pattern was lenthy i hope the college can minimise the same.

Likes

Good focus on balance of academic and extracurricular activities. There are more than 20 clubs and committee for students to takd part in. Cultural fests are held throughout the year. People can take part in it to enhance and showcase their skills.We
Placement are given Enough importance. Good companies come for hiring
Campus is situated in a hilly area and full green

Dislikes

Lack of focus on business real case studies
Some professors are not expert and inexperienced
Hostel situated away from the main campus.

Placement Experience:

Students are given opportunity for summer placements post 3rd term and final placements post 6th term More than 100 companies visit campus Highest package is 72 lakhs, average is 26 lakhs 90 percent students are placed Do a job in corporate is my plan

IIM Shillong: Campus in clouds

Likes

Student driven college, all the activities right from the placement to running hostel and mess, everything done was done by the batch only.
Loved the campus location, mine was the old campus: Mayurbhanj Palace.
The faculties are outstanding. Most of the help you equip yourself with the skills and knowledge required for the next phase of life.

Placement Experience:

The placement process if two fold, with first one commencing in the first year for summer internships. And after the first year you either get PPO or you go for the final placements. 98-99% of the batch gets places, with some of them opting out the placements.

The placements offered on the campus are very engaging and lucrative. Around Rs. 27 lakhs is the average package offered. The Campus in Clouds

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 4th term, 2nd year. Companies such as Collegedunia, BCG, Mahindra, HSBC visited the campus for placements. The average package was 19.17 LPA and the highest package was 32.00 LPA. We had a successful placement season with 100% placements. I am currently employed at Collegedunia after getting my degree.

Placement Experience:

The placements are good enough but the statistics don't paint the whole picture and they somewhat hide the whole picture. The highest package was around 32 lakhs per annum and the average was around 16-17 Lakhs per annum. Around 95% of students get placed quite easily.

The institute offers ample placement opportunities and offers 100% placement to the students. The highest package in 2020 was 48.5 LPA, with the average package around 18.76 lakh rupees per annum. Companies like ABG, ITC, Bain, Deloitte, DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, Nomura participated in the placement process.

Remarks:

No doubt is the first among the new IIMs that are opened in India. The good thing about this college is its serene location which gives one enough time to think about its career. Besides it gives ample opportunity to student to develop in all fields i.e. sports, extra curricular activities.
