Likes

Friends circle is good, you'll get a variety of friends from different parts of india
Teachers are also good, they are helpful and kind.
Campus is also very green and there are many trees.

Dislikes

Campus during election is very unacceptable
There are posters and cards all over the campus
Functioning of lifts, sometimes it is out of order or some issues.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as it has physics, chemistry and maths also, I was confused to choose any one from them but this course clarified my doubt. According to me, the curriculum should be according to class 12 syllabus as there are many reductions in the cbse curriculum, ugc and university should look into that.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 16613 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fee of first year for my program is 16613 i.e. for Gen, Obc, Sc, St, Ews, KM, CW. And for PWD is 125. There are many scholarship like National Scholarship portal, Reliance scholarship, etc. for students depending upon eligibility and categories.

Campus Life

As University of Delhi is famous for its annual, monthly, traditional fests so there is no doubt about them. There are many books available in my library, my library is of two floors. There are many societies and club in my college, there is also NCC and nss available in college, one can register and get enrolled in it with the process.

Admission

I had applied for 153 course+ college combination and I got 47th combination in second round of allotment and I am very much satisfied with this. I have placed the North campus colleges on the top so I got this college. I got rejected by Hindu, st.stephens, Hansraj, Kirori mal as my marks were low and I couldn't make into them. Admission process for getting into my college is to appear in cuet exam and getting good marks.

Faculty

I didn't have any idea about the faculty to students ratio but the faculties are very good and approachable and also help students with their doubts. I like Abha mam of Chemistry lab the most, she helped me a lot during the labs. Personally I do not like Manish sir of chemistry lab because he judged me too earlier and he kept the same image of mine.

The real college experience

Placement Experience:

Gargi, like most other delhi colleges, has a standard placement cell. Students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester onwards, but most requirements happen during the final year. The companies that visit are primarily ed tech based ventures or marketing, HR firms and sales firms. A few that have collaborated over the year has been EY, Decathlon, Urban Company, Deloitte and so on. in terms of packages, the highest that had been around 15-17lpa, and the average package is 4-5lpa. About 20-30% of the batch gets placed during placement interviews while many try to pursue other opportunities or off-campus venues.

ANDC= The most average old school type campus life

as the everyone know for computer science b tech is the best course but there is to much rush for b tech and i dont want to waste my college life or campus life on engenerring degree which dont give me placements thats why i choose for bsc hons cs in du to enjoy the campus life. if you study well in this course it will definately help vo in job interview making your resume good and skills better. the teaching method should be more practical than doing on notebooks or oraly. the datesheet and timings of exams are preety good and the difficulty of exam are moderate the ones who prepares will definately score good marks and can maintain better cgpa.

Good for science courses but infrastructure and surrounding area is not good

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are average. There is a placement cell in our college that is mostly run by students only. Average placement package is 3 to 4 LPA. Companies like Wipro, TCS that visits our college for placements. 5 and 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. 60 to 100 students per year get placements.

Placement Experience:

One can easily view the placement statistics of our college on their website. The placement cell of the college manages the placement process. On first glance, it appears impressive. But most of the placements are in similar fields of commerce like consulting or finance, followed by Arts and Science courses getting the least amount of placements. I personally have no faith in my course getting me any placement. So I'm preparing for government exams anyways.
