Likes

The overall campus atmosphere is superb. The hostel and social interaction also worth it .
The landscape where the college rests just increases its beauty
The senior teaching have great knowledge about what they ara studying

Dislikes

The bus facility near the college is very poor students have to travel 20 min to get a bus if they miss a bus from infront of the college
The university scheduling of each semester is very congested
College bus fees structure and timings are somewhat overated

Course Curriculum Overview

The features of curriculum that infuenced me is its a 4yr course . The course curriculum will jst give you an idea about real world applications . The teachings style should be based on the problem solving skills but lab faculties are mainly focused on finishing the curriculum. The exam should be at 2 and half months gap but we only get 4 moths to complete a sem

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are provided to students stipend is only given to them based on their ability to solve problems that the company is facing. A large number of final year project and mini projects are done in the college based on ehich students are selected for internship

Placement Experience

The placement of the college is good more than 100 companies visit college for placement opportunities. Most companies makes a cut off of 7 cgpa for placement. If i dont get placed walk in interview will be the last option. Or else do a cource at entri.com for further employment Opportunity

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees is 10k but its increasing we pay an amount close to 15k per year for tuition fees,exam fees,and fees for registring in the exam. The students who entered through management have to pay a one time fees of 4 lakh for four years . Scholarships are available based on your caste and the overall income of the family . Girl childeren scholarship are also available based on their family income

Campus Life

Campus life is excellent here also social aspects comes to a greater extent with a number of private hostels nearby . There are also verious clubs like ieee,iei,nss the organize various activities for the improvement of the students

Admission

As a resident of palakkad i prefer this college due to short distance of travel from my home . The oather colleges didnt reject me but i prioritize this college over the other . Admission process was easy we only need to submit the allotment details and caste related documents , 10th and 12th marksheet

Faculty

The faculty and student relationship is very good. The faculties are good at solving the problems of the students. There is no best and poor faculty each faculty has their own style of teaching. Talking about xam in a sem there are 2 internal exam whose score is very relevant in writing the university exams. Failing in the internal exams is usual but students will compensate by writing University exams

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

Placement Experience:

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. A honest review on NSSCE Palakkad

For admission,you have to write KEAM examination amd secure a decdnt rank as this is one of the most demanded colleges in kerala.You have to appear in allotment process and join if you gets tge allotment.The admission procedure was so smooth and as per KEAM rules. I had applied for top colleges in Kerala for Engineering studies. I got admitted to NSSCE. I'm so glad that I'm a student of NSSCE. Admission to NSS College of Engineering. Mainly through KEAM Entrance examination conducted by the government of Kerala: General Quota, Reservation Quota are through KEAM Entrance examination of that year. You should have good marks in PCM subjects in the 12th standard. You should perform well in the KEAM Entrance examination of that year. Try solving Objective questions as many as possible. You definitely have to work hard to get admission to premium colleges like NSSCE. Management Quota admission: Should have good marks in 12th standard.
