My course that is b.com is one of the best known and good course you will get the knowledge of management, law, taxation, auditing, accountancy, costing and all these subjects will provide you a good knowledge

Internships Opportunities

Many companies with many roles like journalist, management, accounting, analysis offer us internship in college some of them are paid and some are not but they offer very good internship there which helps students to build their resume

Placement Experience

For college placements all the students of 3rd year are eligible there are many companies visited like EY, PWC and which great CTC but the ratio of selection is too low and average packages is between 4-5 lakh but if I talk about my course I have very wide variety to choose for career if I do not get placement

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid 13500 in my first year then 10600 in my second year and then 12600 in my third year there are scholarship available for the students of sc st OBC and for ladakh people too but I didn't opt for it. Fee is same for obc and general there are a bit concession for other categories

Campus Life

There are many groups and societies are there in the college and in the fest season you will new vibe daily and our library is too good having 1 lakh+ books there you will any journal and books easily there is no technical provision in clg sport are offered

Admission

Basically in councelling I have opted almost all the colleges in du which provides b.con and dyal singh college ranked at 12 in my preference list I got the college in my first round but I also opted upgradation but I didn't got and I opt this college

Faculty

Faculties are available but in my course like b.com there is some shortage of faculties the best faculties are lab staff theya re very much supportive . And there is internal test and assignment then semester end examinay and mostly all students pass.

Good college for BCom Hons.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. The placement cell is Avenues. In the year 2020-21 130 students got placed and more than 135 companies visited the campus with 100+ diverse roles. The highest salary package was 19.22 lakhs and the average was 6.02 LPA. Around 50% of students from our course got placed in good companies like KPMG, BCG, Deloitte, PWC, McKinsey, D.E. Shaw. I plan to start my articleship journey after getting my degree.

The college provides internship opportunities from the 2nd year onwards. The college provides 20-30% definite placements to the students. And almost 80% of students get internship experience and exposure from the college itself. Placement packages are average but also depend on the person and his/her skills. The average package ranges from 2.5-3.5 lacs approximately. Top recruiting companies like AIMS India, Insurance companies, and E&Y. Many more companies visit onboard for the opportunity of Jobs and internships. My immediate step after the degree of graduation is to have practical experience in the real world and work to gain that exposure and have my further studies post that.

It has a great academic value and tops the chart of the best colleges in DU also the faculty is pretty co-operative. It has a great exposure to sports also. With extremely helpful and experienced faculty members, I am certain that I took the right decision to join this college. If you have the will to work and seize every opportunity that comes your way, look no further and be apart of the SBSC family. Only negative point is that college dont have own hostel.

I would say that my college is surely a good one its a really prestigious college and after living there for 3 years i get to know why it is that much prestigious. But if there is positive sides there are negative sides as well. College should have to take care of the infrastructure of the college which is quite poor and old too.

Dyal Singh College Review

I wanted to apply to Delhi university and you had to appear in CUET. The course eligibility included subjects such as accountancy, English, maths and economics. No cutoffs were released before appearing for the test and even before filling out preference sheet for colleges. Application form was available on the official website of CUET.
