Placement Experience:
The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities.
Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year.
In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs.
Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs.
Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs.
Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA.
Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements.
My plan is to get into freelancing after college.
