The campus of this college is too small. In this college few sports are available like cricket, football, table tennis, volleyball etc. And in this college several clubs are here like music club, anti ragging club,social club etc.

The fees structure if this college is very economical than other colleges. And the education of this college is much better than other colleges. And the transportation of this colleges is very good. For admission in this college you need to good marks in the wbjee exam.

The faculties of this college were well educated and helped us in every situations. If a student is in trouble they helped us to come out from this situation. Overall they were very helpful. And there behavior is good. But some pf them there behavior is rude in nature.

Life of a BTech DT student studying in WBUAFS

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester, the students are eligible for campus placements. Various companies including all the famous food and dairy industries and brands like AMUL, ITC, Keventers visit the university for recruiting the students at various posts. The highest starting package after completing graduation is 7 lakhs/annum and the average is 4-5 lakhs per annum. This can be increased to about 10-12 lakhs per annum after completion of post graduation and the average package also increases to 7-8 lakhs/ annum. The percentage of students getting placements is 100% My plan after getting the BTech degree in Dairy technology is opting for higher studies and completing post graduation.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semister students can sit for a placement. In our college or in our time we have limited companies.our college has invited 3 to 4 companies for placement. The highest package was- 7lakh/ annum. Avg package-3.5 lakh/annum, Percentage of students getting job -40% My plan for m.tech.

Remarks:

Positives of this college is mostly the fact that it is a functioning college. With labs and classrooms. The college has AC too. The DSC is also a big positive point. Negatives: the people, the redundant course, the initial 1.5 months of ragging.

I applied for other colleges like Narula institute of technology and Netaji Subhas Engineering College but I choose BP poddar institute of management and technology. The main reason for choosing the college is Low Fees and Good Faculties and very well environment. The admission process of this college occurs in many steps.
