it is funny but the department choose me because my rank is not so good.Electrical & power word is enough for interest. it is very well to make you that how the industry is going. we can pursue higher education. have to update the course curriculum, have to devolop the teaching skill of the teacher. exam timing is very flexible and if you study before the 1 week of exam , then it is very easy to score more than 8 cgpa.

my college placement is very much good. 5 th sem you are eligible for Internship & after completion of 6 th sem you are eligible for campus placement. huge number of companies visit and huge no. of offers made. highest package 1.2 cr and average package is 14-18 lakh which is vary from department to department. 98% of total student placed. my will is to be join a good company .

yearly fees of Power Engineering department is 2450 /-. tution fees - 900/- , Lab & Workshop Fees - 1500 /- ,sessional charge- 50/-. the fees of all batchmates is same irrelevant of category. there are several scholarship like SVMCM( 60000per year) , Freeship ( which is given to the candidate who have faced financial issue but it is given to 10% student of university.the yearly fees is refunded in this condition), JU Alumini scholarship(it is the flexible amount whose range is from 300-30,000/ year.it is given by considering the financial problem rating),etc.

there are many fest and events- CIIPPUS, U-Turn, etc ( freshers events). there are also department wise freshers event. Annual techno Fest - SRIJAN, BIG fest is "SANSKRITI". huge accessibility of books and journal. i can also order the books which i needed. there are projector, seminar hall, etc huge opportunity to explore extra curricular activities. many club like Robotics club , E-cell, Mechatronics club, Photo-graphy club, Music club, Poetric club, gym Facility,coding club, content creation club,etc

very good hostel , i ahve alloted. the name is Jadvpur University salt lake boys hostel. i have alloted a single room . there provides two meal in 1 day , which price is 22 rs/ meal. it is very low fees. quality is also good. there has to appear in hostel interview round. have to pass the round to stay in hostel. the hostel room rent is 25 rs/ month.which is very cheap. there have huge opportunity of wifi , single room, campus Library. Chingrighata. which is situated in Salt lake city, sector iii.

i applied all the govt. engineering college of west bengal. but in my 1st round , i have allotted the seat of Jadavpur University.i have choose this due to the minimal fees and high placement. no, i didnt get rejection. you have to clear WBJEE exam, HAve to secure Good rank accroding to your category. in this year cutoff is very high. in general category , maximum 2000 rank is good to enter the college.

faculty to student ratio is 3:1. faculty student relationship is also good. very supportive & helping nature. in my department , there are awesome faculty like prof. Ranjan Ganguly sir, prof. PRP sir, Prof. amitava dutta sir, Prof. Amitava Gupta sir. they are very practical & advance technology updated cool prof. i cant disclose the name . but there are some faculties. they cant teach well but also do very tough question to solve in Semester. gave supple hugely. every subject have 2 ct and 1 final exam. many are difficult & many have moderate and simple. course curriculum is modeartely relevant but its need to be updated.
