Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of DU as everyone knows is old it's High time it gets updated . But, It's good the concepts are through and proof . Mostly the exams are conducted on time and the results are also on time the valuation procedure I feel is a little behind the mark . The teaching could however improve in a lot of ways the lack of good talent atleast in some areas are pretty visible
Internships Opportunities
Many large companies do campus placement in these colleges as usual Theas are mainly on the management side or arts courses but the internship opportunities are also great there are a lot of opportunities are it is Delhi
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
1st year =20,280.00 2nd year =21,084.00 3rd year =22,845.00 Exam fees : I studied a 3 years programme so 6 semestereach semester the exam fees paid to Delhi University are as follows of you have practical lab exs it's gonna cost extra as I had them on an average a semester exam fees were arround 1500 /1600 There are not much hidden fees or anything Even though I wasn't in college hostel the hostel for boys are still under construction as of 2024 July And girls hostel is expensive and highly competitive to get in and cost high
Campus Life
As a campus Hindu has everything you need thanks to the quality individuals that gets into the college and to the base of administration. As far as I can conclude there are 4 or 5 social groups for eany student of any interest to get into and be productive The library indeed is the biggest of them as it's such a attractive place intellectually Sports extracurricular activities all those have a space. The student running societies of Hindu college are well known in the Delhi student circle . From the historic abstractions to Alankar everything keeps standards MECCA "the Hajj tu Hindu college" Or "kwabon ka karwa " Is the biggest fest of Hindu college being part of this in two years were proud Post COVID event of 2023 was one of the best college fest in DU even though 2024 event couldn't keep the graph high it was still packed
Admission
At the time of admission in 2021 I applied to huge number of courses but admission at Delhi University and that too in one of the best college was indeed the reason behind my interest. In conclusion I'm a student at this college because it was my primary choice and I intended to be here The cutoff is high I had 97.5% in 12th and that was the cutoff . Right now a college on top of the Rankings like #1NIRF Is indeed the toughest to get into but you can of you want to
Faculty
Taking in all sides the faculty situation is good . The student faculty ratio is not excellent but good . Most of them are approachable the more you try the more interested they are . Continuous evaluation is mostly conducted in a good way. They are good with attendance marking it was not a problem earlier but it is now in good consideration. Many classes are taught in hinglish so it'll take some time for non Hindi speakers to get in touch but it's not too bad of a condition as some other colleges.
