Campus is very big and beautiful. All services are nearby

Course Curriculum Overview

There are different branches of the CSE including core as well as specialization. Total four exams are to be conducted in one year and academics is distributed semester wise. Level of the exams are moderate.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Multiple companies like providence, cisco, dell have visited the campus for internship opportunities and around 20 percent of applied candidates get selected in coding round. Projects are to be made in 4th year.

Placement Experience

7th semester onwards, students get the opportunities for placement. 5th semester onwards there are better internship opportunities. Highest package was recorded 60lpa and average package is 8lpa Almost all students get placed in CSE branches.

Fees and Financial Aid

175000 rs per semester would be paid for each semester with 40000 rs for 2 bed non ac rooms, and 22500 rs as well for mess fees. There is no fee difference for different reservation categories. Similarly there is minimal difference in CSE and non CSE branches. Scholarship is provided differently as per yearly changes

Campus Life

There are various societies for technical and cultural aspects. Hackathon is also conducted by which students get higher opportunities. Sports facilities are also upto the mark, and there are more than 30 socities for different fields.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are fully furnished and bucket, bedsheet, matress, etc given alongwith cupboard study table and switches. Mess food is quite average however better than other colleges. PG and rented rooms are also near the campus. Hostel and mess fee would cost around 60k per semester.

Admission

Applied in JP Noida, Thapar, SRM as well. Got offer from all of them. However choosed KIIT due to large campus and better opportunities. Admission process is entirely online and 1 day of registration for offline orientation as well.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is nearly 1:50 and is quite less as per needed. Otherwise, faculties are quite helpful. Exams are conducted on a mid semester and end semester basis. Thus, there are 4 exams in 1 year.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
