Review of College

The college is neither too good nor bad, it's an intermediate college to give you a job in an IT company, but you will not learn anything well,you have to work hard yourself for a gate or any good competition though faculty is good and helpful.

The course curriculum is good but in the long learn you will not learn anything, you can just get good grades by studying few days before the semester through the organizer, you will not learn anything practical only can get the IT industry no core knowledge.

First of all the college does not provide any internship and when it is about don't expect anything more than 1 or 2 IT companies and no core companies you will definitely get a placement with the maximum package of 3-4 lakhs

There are many events celebrated in college Pheonix is the biggest cultural fest, the cultural fest is Culrav and for sports we have Sportiva all fests are celebrated annually, there are also departmental competitions

The fee structure is feasible and moderate, its approx 40k per semester, excluding examination fees which is 1200 for each sem. There are no hidden external expenses. You have to pay no fees for books from book banks.

Loan facility is available in college through Axis bank, the scholarship is available through TFW students through WBJEE 4-5 seats in each department which depends on its WBJEE rank. there is no other scholarship available by the college.

The college has many extracurricular activities and clubs, for technical activities you can join technical club xplorica, for sports, you can join the sportiva club and for film making and cultural activities, there is another club... The labs are good and so are lab assistants, but there is no playground.

The college has no official hostel of its own. Though many hostels are available near college which has tied up with college, you have to spend around 6000 -7000 in the hostel which includes food. The infrastructure and food of this mess or hostels are moderate.

Alumni is helpful, mostly placed in IT companies like Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, the college provides placement only in IT companies, not in core companies, senior students are helpful and they guide you better.

The faculty of the college is good and very helpful especially basic Humanities department has good professors, but not all departments are same, choose department wisely, because not all faculty of every department is good, but few teachers are very helpful
