This course teaches you about coding and the different types of engineering with options of mechanical and civil subjects. This course also helps us create a resume of our own skillset. We also have our own domain to choose from.

Companies like tcs, infosis, cognisant offer internship as well as pre placement opportunities. Bny melon , Atlas also provide internship based of a exam. The preparation of the students play a valuable role in these cases. Jp Morgan case also hire data analysts. The internships generally pay around 20-30k

Our placements is good. Many of my fourth year seniors have already bagged an placement offer or are working as an intern in campanies like bny melon, tcs, info, atlasetc. An average of 10 lakh package can be expected if the cgpa is above 9.

Campus Life

I have a fairly good campus life with my hostel centered in the campus. I have access to the central library even at night and also the classrooms are near enought. There are clubs for every tech domain like robotics , space, cp etc and along with that there are also business clubs, fashion and dance too.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels rooms are fairly clean with regular cleaning done. The classrooms are also very clean. The food given is hygienic and frequent change in the menu gets us excited. Special menu served onn events and special occasions are a delight. The hostel has a reading room of its own which can be accessed anytime of the day.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

This college is relatively close to my home and also it has a far better infrastructure. This college also hosts many events like MUN and also hackathons. Workshops on domains like cybersecurity, Competitive coding etc are held frequently which helps boost one's skillset.

Btech is of 4 years. These 4 years id divided into 8 semisters. Subjects change at every semister and two sets of exams is conducted per semister. Mid semester and end semester exams. Semester grade report is prepared per semester which is then used to create grade report of the entire course. Exams are moderate and not impossible. Professors are excellent.

IIIT Bhubaneswar review

Placement Experience:

From the start of the 7th semester, students become eligible for placements. The placement used to be so good and the graph was increasing exponentially. But for to recession, last year's placements were not good at all. There was almost 100% placement in CSE, IT and CE branches and 80% in ETC and EEE. But due to the recession, it dropped drastically. The highest package provided on campus is 39LPA by media.net, taking only one student. The average salary used to be 12LPA which dropped to 7LPA due to the recession. The condition of placement cells is not good currently and many students are in doubt regarding their placements. Many are opting for higher studies or trying off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario is good. Even I am placed in a reputed core company. Majority of the students get placed. The remaining also prepares for higher studies through GATE and CAT. Being in the capital city, the advantage of access to reputed coaching institutes also makes the college favourable. Students are eligible to sit in the placements in the final year. Though some third-year students also get pre-placement offers after doing certain internships. Maruti Suzuki, Tata Steel, Vedanta, Tata Advanced Systems, TCS (Digital and Ninja), Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, JK papers, Robert Bosch etc are some of the highlights.

one of the reason i have to say is it has its own identity. It is right now the top 6th university in the country. The kiit tag does help in applying for job. I applied to Manipal university and i did get IT in it but i didnt choose manipal because of personal issues rather than the college itself. You have to perform well in the kiitee exam. yes i choose this college over all the other private colleges in INDIA. I applied to all iits and nits through JEE but managed to score only 91.23 percentile, which was not enough to get into any good NIT with cs. a glimpse of KIIT
