Life at NIT Delhi

Honestly I am not much intersted in my course which is Mechanical Engineering but my enterence exam rank was not so good. That's why I had to choose te course. The teaching method is already very nice but they should add some reasearch work also in it. The exams are held in every 2-3 months.

The placements at my college are also nice. Because of it's location and the well known intelligence of it's students. There are many companies visiting every year in my college like Samsung, Google, Microsoft etc. The highest packege at my college is 87lakhs per anm. Which is really nice. And the average packege is 20 lakhs. It's also good. My plan is to work in a well known company as a successful engineer with a high income, after my degree. From 5th semester students can apply for campus placments.

The yearly fee of my course is 64000. There is reservation applied if you are applicable for that like your category and your parent income. Tuition fee - 64000 registration fee - 2000 admission fee - 5000 development fee- 2000 library fee - 3600 Internet and computer fee - 4000 sports fee - 4000 There are scholarships available for students like National scholarship portal and Reliance on which you can apply. My college provide scholarship for different category and based on their household income.

The campus life at my college is very nice. As I'm a student of my college I have experinced a great happiness here. There are many clubs at my college like Sports club, Photography club, UBA club, Cultural club etc. There are many events also take place in every semester like Anvenshna, Cultural fest etc. The sports facility is outstanding you can join any sports and can show your skills and can grow up with our great coaches. We can issiue any book from the library. THe central library of my college is also very big and approachable.

The hostel facility is almost good but not at all. Because the hostels are a few away distance from the campus. The food quality at mess is good but sometimes they offer a different type of food which I don't like. You will be alloted a hostel after taken admission in the college and paid the semester's hostel fee. The rooms at hostel are very good. There will be AC/Non AC rooms available. And atteched let bath also in the room.

I am very happy with the college because It's a well known college. Anyone can't take admission in this college. You have to crack JEE mains exam to enter the college. --As I have told that I'm in a NIT college I had also applied for some better nit's but I got this on the basis of my rank. But this is also in top 10 NITS so I'm very happy with the college. -- Yes I have got rejection from some colleges because of my rank. My enterance exam rank was good but not too good so this is. -- For taking admission at my college you have to crack JEE mains exam with a good rank. your CRL rank should be under 1 lakh to enter in my college.

The faculty of my college is really appreciatable because of their good behaviour and hard working nature. They are always helpful and kind. They are also honest for their work and always ready to help the students who want to research something or wanna to work on a project. The faculty and student ratio is 1 per 50 students. I like a teacher Mr. Dalvindra singh because he is the most connected person with students and always work with us to learn something new and innovate something. There are 2 exams per semester 1 is mid sem exam and another is end sem exam. The difficulty level of exams depends on the professor who is making the question paper.
