Dark reality of Government colleges

I did diploma in IT sector and already had intreset in AI and made decisions to opt for AI for future. As most of our faculties are of computer department and other. the flow of learning is uneven. Multiple faculty are allocated for 2-3 subjects and teach 2-3 chapters at a time for same subject creating confusion a lot. Exam timings are mostly good either morning 11 or evening 4.

the yearly fees paid is 1500 rupees. the 1500 include all tution fees, caution fees, registration fees, lab fees , development fees,etc . for gilrs the fees is free. the fees structure depends on caste a lot. the max it can go is 1500 for general catergory. scholarship for student is available based on caste. no scholarships for general category as usual.

there are rare number of clubs in our college. the clubs that exist in our college are mostly not properly advertised and managed. most of the students dont know about functioning of these clubs. these clubs are operated by same 3-4 students and no proper hierarchy of posts is there for students to learn leadership and other skills. we had an idea to create centralized club for college with other college collaborations but idea was rejected and not entertained at all. also took our idea to implement of their own.

I had applied for colleges in Pune as well as Gujarat. I had 91% in diploma and had chance for admission in DY patil in pune which was choosed as 1 st option for admission list. In gujarat as i was from other state i didn't have option to get admission for private colleges only government colleges are visible. if any one want to opt for my college after soing diploma, one should fill acpc form. as from now this year acpm is not having direct listing, will have to give exam for same

faculty ration is also very less. as our dept of AI&DS is new all the faculties are all of comp dept. all the faculties are made to be prepared for the subject which is completely new to them. Exams are structured as MID sem exam in middle of sem which is of 20 marks for each subject and then theres final examination with 70 marks each subject. the other 30 marks for final exams is added via practicals and other submissions. one of the best faculty of our college is Yogesh Parmar.
