Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum at our college is considered as some parts of the course relevant and some are not relevant. Some subjects are not used in industry but these are teaching to us in industry scenario these are not used.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies offers internship opportunity at the time of placements company which take student they are going for internship first after that they are eligible for a job. And for this complete guidance provided by the company.
Placement Experience
Student become eligible for campus placement from the end of 6th semester. GEC Rajkot recruiter companies are simform and tatvasoft in for computer department and for others are reliance, tata, L&T are comes. Average package in our department is 3.5 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees I paid in current year is 2250/- 1500/- rs Tution fees for NON-TFWS students and ors for TFWS students 750/- is mandatory for TFWS and NON-TFWS students which is for institute fee. In those 750 RS. they include Library fees 40rs Laboratory fees 160 rs. Gymkhana fees 150rs.
Campus Life
Overall experiance with campus life is not that much good and there is a problem for girls students because there is no hostel for them and college takes fees for Gymkhana but there is no Gymkhana. Students arranges sports week after requests on their and students pay for this.Number of events in our college is poor.
Admission
I choose this college over the other college because I considered 2 parameters like affordability, placements. Placement at time of my admission is very good and fees are very less obviously because government college.
Faculty
Our college has large team of well qualified and expert faculties in various department. Some faculties are not that much responsive but some of are very responsive and help us. There are total 3 exams in college per semester 1.Mid exam [30 marks] 2.Semester Exam [70 marks] 3. Practical Exam [50 marks : 20 marks internal assessment + 30 marks viva exam]
Night Life
College seior arranges fresher party for new students and they choose different locations.Personally for hangout spot I choose my rent room where i leave. and there are some private hostels around the college.
