Likes

Placement are good as compared to other colleges
Professors are kind and good and are friendly with students except some.
Good campus although not so big but enough for everything

Dislikes

I didn't like the food quality although it's good but not hygiene
The timetable is too much messy ...we don't get enough time

Course Curriculum Overview

I got this course of 4 years btech in biotechnology due to home state quota and I literally don't know anything about this course what is biotechnology. And in first year we are not familiar with our branches

Internships Opportunities

I cannot give details about internship opportunities because iam in first year and we don't have such opportunities. May be slfron second and third we will have opportunity of internship..but yes this year 8 student got PPO in apple india

Placement Experience

Placements are too good not only for cs and tech branches but also for different branch too. Last year from mechanical it's was the highest of all time around 72 lakhs perannum.. which is a good thing and also the average of biotechnology is around 9 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise 119000 Tution fees around 67000 and rest other fees I don't know much about sc st But yes st category they have there tution fees waved off so if we subtract tution fees from 119000 thats there total fees and also around 15000 is refundable.

Campus Life

In first year we don't have enough scope to focus on social aspects and clubs because of some rules and regulations concerned about ragging they don't allow us to leave the hostel premises ...we are only allowed to go for classes and labs we have a separate time table for libraries

Hostel Facilities

Hostel faculty are good but some of them they are staying in common room. And there also we are not allowed to play games and all. If we try to do anything there the faculty comes out and start making videos

Hostel Fee: INR 29000 per year

Admission

I didn't choose this college by my own. according to my rank and home state quota I got this college and I am happy this because my rank was not too good in jee that I would have got any other state volleges

The faculty members are very good nice and kind... I don't know any specific name but maths professor is too good. There are two exam in one semester mid term and end sem... Now we have given only mid term and I think i am scoring not too good

The placement performance in my college is average few student get decent placement otherwise many sales company come and took the student .Around 30 percent student in my class got placement by college other strudents get placed by thereselves there is no role of placement and training department in this.

Shaping My Future: A Comprehensive Review of College Life and Academics

Placement Experience:

After 7th semester companies started coming and there is different criteria for different companies like some company have criteria for more then 8.5 cgpa will be able to seat only in their placement conducting it is totally based on company preferences. The highest package was 9 lpa and average package was 3 lpa. Around 60 percent student get placed in my department.

Placement Experience:

Companies started coming around 7 th semester there is different criteria for different companies like you have more tan nine cgpa then you are eligible for that particular company. Around 50 percent people in my class get placed . Companies like TCS ,wipro EY are mass hiring company.

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

In my college according to this year college placements went 82% . If you can't get campus placement , there is a high probability if you can apply for any job outside campus and you have relevant skills you can get it . As alumini network of this college is quite good . Microsoft, apple, Deloitte,....etc many companies visits i don't even remember ????more . After getting degree i wants to prepare for govt job

Placement Experience:

Here students become eligible to sit in campus placement from 6th semester. Many companies come here. The average package here is 5 lakhs and the highest here is 20 lakhs it's gone.Here 95% of the students get placement.My plan is to do M.Tech after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of my college is very strong.From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements.There are around 50 companies visited in the college such as TCS,Intel. Microsft. Deloitte,etc.205 students are placed in TCS in year 2019. 415 students are placed in campus placement last year. Maximum CTC was 25 lacs/pa and average CTC was 5.5 lacs/pa previous year.After Jadhavpur University,the average CTC of the college is higher than IEM. Above 95% placements for IT,CSE and ECE students.There are around 55-60% placements in other department.My plans are doing some great things after getting the degree.

I was getting all nits of india and also some iits.The only reasons of not choosing them is branch ,i was getting lower branches in all other colleges so i choose this. I think this was the best college onmy rank. NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

I applied to IIEST Shibpur and was getting ECE there but I chose this college because of its brand name, infrastructure and placement which are all way above shibpur. No I did not get any rejection form college I applied for.
