Course Curriculum Overview
Some special effect that influenced me to get metallurgical and material science department is because of my rank and there is no other issue that influenced me as teaching is good in the department but some improvements are to improve the machines as they are not working properly frequently of a timing of exam is 1 month after each month we have to give a midterm or in term exam and the semester is of 4 month.
Internships Opportunities
Our college provide few internships in good good companies for technical support of a student so that he is able to get job after the degree you have to only perform some task or project for the internships
Placement Experience
After your third year you are eligible for the campus placement some company visited are Vedanta HCL extra and they provide a good number of offers the highest offer will 39 lakh in the CSE department and lowest days 3 lakh also in CSE department percentage of student get his approx 20 30% student will get place my plan is to get a government job after degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year-wise fees I pay is around 2 lakh The tution fee is 81600 and the mess fee is around 20000 but if you have income less than 1 lakh then your fee is around 20000. and if you have income less than 5 then you average a fee of 40000.
Campus Life
As there in Gymkhana which organises a first known as Range chinar and Techvanganza. The library has many books you can study with the library books only facilities are good in the classroom as some classrooms have AC but some do have not AC sport and extracurricular of activities are very good we have cricket football basketball ground student-run social groups are semicolon extra.
Hostel Facilities
Facilities provided in rooms are beds fan almirah meal quality and Meenu is good but I think they did not prepare it well. registration process for hostel and affordability is very easy you have to only go to dsw for the hostel requirement
Admission
I applied to many colleges like for example Jac Delhi JAC Chandigarh but in the third round of Jossa I got the metallurgy department seat as my rank is low that's why I didn't get the Jac Chandigarh Jac Delhi the eligibility criteria is to first we have to do JEE mains and if we have good score in JEE main then we can apply in jossa after that we get the seat in nit srinagar.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is approx 40 students per faculty and the relationships are good in the college with the faculty members some names of faculty that I like our Bilal sir and Pankaj sir Amita mam the name of faculty that I don't like as some Irfan sir and exam are easy in your department and you will get easily 8CGPA.
