Shoolini University an expensive for life.

I was always influenced by research field, so microbiology is all about research work. Curriculum is mostly focuses on research and academic studies than real life application. More practical works should be performed or demonstrated for better understanding. Three exams per semester. Two mid terms with 10% weightage each and one end term exam.

I did internship from shoolini University itself Online based. It was bioinformatics summer internship. It was very informative and teachers were very polite and considerate. Things were taught to us at utmost patience.

3rd semester students become eligible for placement. Many companies visit the campus time to time, most of the students are placed in sales, some 20% get placed in core companies. I am planning to do PhD after my masters.

I am currently pursuing Master of Microbiology from Shoolini University, Solan. The University has a very nice infrastructure and as it is situated in Himachal it has very aesthetic nice. The fees for my course is ?75000/- per semester. But as I got scholarship merit based I pay 37000/- per semester. The registration fee is 1600/-? And ? 10000/- is security money. Rest no money is taken.

Campus life is very good. Different students from all over India and some foreign students make a very diverse culture in campus. Many events, conferences, and fest are organised so there is not a single boring day at Shoolini. There are many clubs of different types like weeb club for anime fans, dance club, music club, drama club, animal lovers club etc. run by students in the campus.a

I am a hosteler, so Hostel rooms are very clean and newly build with nice comfortable bed and mattress, curtain, table, cupboard and chair. Mess food is nice, it's not tasteless like other hostels and is very hygienic. Hostels are a bit expensive

The University is situated in Himalayas with a peaceful, safe campus. They have many global collaborations. The placement cell is active. The entrance test was computer based and was not that difficult just basic knowledge was required.

My class has 30 students so teachers can interact easily with each and every student. Dr. Lokender kumar from school of biotechnology is my favourite teacher, he's very cooperative and well organised. His classes are very interactive and informative. Next faculty I love is Dr. Nitika Thakur she's multi-talented, super energetic and understanding. Each semester we have 3 exams, two mid terms and one end term. These exams are online, computer based. The exams are mostly from things taught to us in class or based on real life scenarios. If a student is attentive in classes it's not very difficult to pass the exams. Course curriculum is good from research and competitive exam perspective but not for industries and jobs. The faculties are friendly and approachable, we can talk to any teacher during or after class for any doubt, questions, confusions. Some subjects have outdated syllabus like industrial microbiology. Classes are 50 mins. Long and are interactive, faculty is supportive
