Remarks

Good remark as environment is good faculties are good seniors are helpful. College management is also good but they should provide companies for internship also that is the bad point.

Entrance Preview

SET exam , the exam is conducted by our college. I scored 50 AIR in the year 2015 as i got admission in 4 year degree program in 2nd year through lateral entry. The environment is very good here it is a central funded college so i decided to graduate from here.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The standard of study is good, i m not saying it is the best but the effort by faculty is really impressive they are always ready to help you. Faculty's standard is high as it is a college funded by MHRD so one just cant become a faculty here they have to pass the exam and face the tough interview.

Internships Opportunities

Internship experience is not good , student have to go outside for internship, This program is not provided by college ,if any student want internship he/she can contact in companies but college is not responcible for that.

Placement Experience

2.5

Many companies came here for placement as we recently get TCS for cs student ,HONDA for mechanical students and many more for other trades also. I am happy to see that job opportunities is provided by college and packages is depend on qualities of student.

College Events

3

There are many groups in our college and many events also conducted by those group . As each department or trade conduct freshers party every year and the workshops or cultural events , many more events festivals celebrated here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible , as i already said that it is a central funded college . You can also say that it is a central government college so every course provided by college is feasible here.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes if we get high rank in our entrance then we get our tution fee from college in the form of scholarship. One can easily get loan from banks for our college.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is joyful here. There are many competition held here related sports or debates . We have almost every game facility here politics is almost zero here every year each hostel organize hostel night, cultural societies organize many event. and there is nothing to worry regarding gender or religion here.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facility is very nice here as final year student or higher study student gets single room. Building is good nice infrastructure we can complain if we have any problem and they treat every problem in a manner full way and solve it. Mess food is very

Alumni/Alumna

Senior is always ready to help here , alumni network is not strong as we still did not get interaction with our alumni so i can not say anything about alumni but senior students are really good here i am happy to have such seniors.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is good as we get minor exams every month and major exams after each semester so exam structure is good. We get time for chilled out for some time after each minor but most of the time we face a busy day for study here.

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.
