Likes

First of all I want to mention about the extremely good environment of our college. Its really help us to focus on studies.
Teachers are so good they check each and every student's copy. They even solve a whole problem even if it's one student who couldn't solve the question
Our college focus on extra curricular activities for students so no one gets bored within the 4 years B.tech degree

Dislikes

There is no option for non veg food in college canteen. They just focus on vegetarian foods.
One more thing I should mention we have 2/3 classes in the morning depends on date until lunch time. Within class time in so much early morning sometimes we skip breakfast so we feel hungry and dizzy during the class. Which is too much bad I think.
The college starting time is too much early in the morning and as I have to come to college 55 km far away from the clg so I have to board a train at 7:30 am to reach my class within 9:30 which is painful sometimes

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course curriculum is really great. Our clg promotes our extra curricular activities like innovation or start ups. College provides funds and cheers for our career. Sometimes it also helps us to devide whether we should go for a job or we should build our own start up. Our college heavily support internships start ups learing and also punctuality.

Internships Opportunities

There are a lot of internship oppertunities available in our college. But those will be accessible after 2nd year. Most of them are available just to learn and train ourselves how to do coding properly. Also it helpes to gain personal life experience for jobs. Although most of the internships are non paid but we learn various of things from it in dream companies.

Placement Experience

Placement rate in our college campus is way to higher. As much as I talked with our seniors they said it's approx 86% placement rate every year. So if anyone can maintain average 9 cgpa per year he will get a job in big companies like TCS, INFOSYS, COGNIZANT etc from our college campusing for sure.

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semister our college fees is approx 60000 with out hostel fees. As I don't stay in hostel. Which makes a total of 480000 approx 5lakh in total. Which is a good price according to its teaching level and placement.

Campus Life

Our college is too much socialize. There is no thing as ragging. Seniors are so Frank that we sometimes think we know them since childhood. Our college promotes sports so there is a football,cricket(small area), basket ball, carrom, table tenis, Badminton playing court in our college. Also there are a lot of clubs like coders club, innovation club, music club, dance club, drawing club , photography club. Where any students can participate and learn some new skills.

Admission

I choosed this college because this was the nearest college from my house. Also my mom and dad didn't wanted to leave me alone in hostel or pg as they think I am not matured enough to stay independent. Also we heard a lot of good newses and oppertunities about MCKVIE college. So I decided to take admission in this college. Also placement rate is too high it is one of the main reason for choosing MCKVIE.

Faculty

Teachers are really good they are easily approachable. There are a lot of faculties in our clg like rising club or photography club even music and arts club. They helps students a lot. Exam proccess is a bit different and harder than other institutes I think in our clg. We have 4 exams each year. Among them 1st and 3rd are most important as they are our semester exams. But 2nd and 4th one are easy in compared to others. Cuz they are just class tests. But the number of class test also added in our final result. So we have to be careful for that too.

ELIGIBILITY FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENT: At Brainware University students generally become eligible for campus placement from the final years of their course. For many programs placemnet preparation sactivities such as aptitude training, soft skills development, resume building, mock interviews begin earlier, you can say that these activities are incoporated from the 1st semester itself. COMAPINES VISIT: Several reowned and reputed compaines from IT, management,healthcare,media, and core sectors visits the university for campus recruitment. Placement drive include companines from domains such as software services, consulting,education,sales digital marketing etc. For my domain CSE AIML companies like Infosys,Amazon,Cognizant,Adobe etc visits. Each year multiple students receive job offers through campus drives and some students also secure multiple offers depending on their skills and performance. HIGHEST AND AVERAGE PACKAGE OFFERED: The highest package offered varies by course and recruiter and also with top performing students receive highest packages based on their role requirements and skills. It range from 12 LPA to 45 LPA. The average package offered to students is competitive for a private university and aligns with industry standards for entry level roles. These generally range from 3.5 to 8 LPA. The placement cell of my college is very strong.From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements.There are around 50 companies visited in the college such as TCS,Intel. Microsft. Deloitte,etc.205 students are placed in TCS in year 2019. 415 students are placed in campus placement last year. Maximum CTC was 25 lacs/pa and average CTC was 5.5 lacs/pa previous year.After Jadhavpur University,the average CTC of the college is higher than IEM. Above 95% placements for IT,CSE and ECE students.There are around 55-60% placements in other department.My plans are doing some great things after getting the degree.

MCKVIE, a good college for its price

I applied for admission in many colleges like Siliguri Institute of technology, Heritage Institute of technology, Techno Main Salt Lake, Calcutta Institute of Engineering and management. (Through management quota) From the above, I got a confirmed admission in CIEM(Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management) but i later opted for WBJEE Counseling to try my luck there. I put many colleges in My WBJEE preference list. It's very fortunate that I found out about MCKVIE at the last moment as it was a very good college considering its low price. From the colleges that i opted for both in counseling and management quota... most colleges were too expensive for me, or i was not able to get the desired course. MCKVIE was very suitable as I got CSE with a semester-wise tuition fees of around 55k. The admission process of my college was fairly systematic, I got Core CSE through WBJEE Counseling and got my seat throught WBJEE+JEE Rank. Overall admission experience was a bit lengthy process because it involved the Counseling procedures, but it was smooth and the officials were helpful and well prepared for all kinds of inconveniences...Read More
