The professors are good at teaching and the environment is very studious. Extra curriculum activities should be encouraged
Life is too green here that is campus is full of greenery and fresh air .
All the books are available in library and helping seniors

Dislikes

No air conditioned lecture theatres , no mic in LTs
The campus doesn’t have its own playground and it’s not safe to roam around at night
The campus is small , NO GYM , its far away from main city

Course Curriculum Overview

Being a doctor is a Nobel profession , it's a reputed college in Chattisgarh and I got it after too much hustle . Preparing for NEET UG was not that easy but it's all going to worth when uh gonna hold that scalpel in your hand in dissection hall . The teaching methods are good but infrastructure can be improved

In a medical college you have to do 1 year internship and then uh will get your degree So congratulations We have our own hospital with a good patient count and you are going to get 16k per month for that People here are very simple , they are going to worship you

Campus Life

All the festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi (7 days programme ) Holi , Teachers day etc etc are celebrated very promptly. You are going to enjoy it . The auditorium is very big and fully air conditioned . Sports day are organised yearly by the students themselves . FEST is going to held from year 2024 ( welcome juniors ) No student organised clubs or mess run here

Hostel Facilities

The rooms are provided with accurate light and ventilation. Well painted walls and study tables are provided. You are going to have a room partner that means 2 people in each room. Common washrooms which are cleaned regularly . Hygiene is well maintained No such registration process for hostel uh just need to fill a form and contact warden For meal there are 3 mess which charge 2600 monthly And the food is 7/10

Admission

For admission in this college you have to crack National level NEET UG competitive exam and At my time 23 lakh students gave the exam and I got 15614 rank I got this college in third round of counselling For the admission you have to report here and pass some medical tests and hostel alottment next day . It will take maximally 2 days and wohooo you can enjoy your college life which is going to be too hectic

Faculty

15:125( it only includes teaching staff ). The faculties are good at teaching , they work very hard to explain uh the topic, the environment is very studious here . The hospital has a good patient count too. Exams are like uh have to give ONE MONTHLY TEST (PCT) First sem Second Sem Pre University exams University exams They have no mercy for marks , you will get marks only for the relevant points

Navigating Medical School: A Comprehensive Review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspect that influenced me is the externals and clinicals that made by decision to take this course because more than theory is the postings and clinicals which are neccessary to become a good doctor and also helps you to gain confidence. This is not just a curriculum but is a priority academics that prepares a student to save ones life which is far more important than just learning or reading. And yes it prepares us very well through clinicals and postings in addition to theory lectures or exams. As per my view, improvements in posting durations is very important than theory durations due to the priority. And yes teaching methods may get improve if some more fresh cadavers may get introduced in college every year. Exam are held in two phases, 3 terminals and 1 final. 3 terminals are held whole year with 3 to 4 months gap and finals at the end of the semester which is the final exam. Terminals exams are easy and quick whereas finals are tough and time consuming.

If you're getting into MBBS, you have cleared neet and you have a slight idea of what you're getting yourself into. The subjects are tough, especially anatomy, because of the vastness of the subject. But if you're consistent and making lil efforts everyday, it's achievable without hampering the fun part of college life. Here are a few gem of resources that everyone uses for first year. Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as it was my parents dream and during childhood my paediatrician also inspired me to become a DR. This college has good faculties. In a subject department there is 1 HOD( head of department), 1 assistant professor,1associate professor, 2-3 demonstrator and many management workers. They are very helpful. Also there are 60 students so it is very helpful for students to understand what professor says. There is good communication between students and professors overall I would say a good bonding is there. All faculties MBBS graduated though some have done PHD also but they have good teaching experiences to make a student understand everything.There are 2 internal exams which are average to pass and one University exam in which you have to pass to go to next year. You have to give a supplementary exam if you fail the University exam or the final exam.

Best private medical college and hospital in Chhattisgarh. Provides good atmosphere to nurturing and growing minds. Out patient dept are full of patient every day. Students learn very well in well required libraries.

Gmc jagdalpur

So I applied for all medical Colleges present in chhattisgarh in counseling process. This college was my 4th preference, in counseling I was allotted to this college according to my rank in NEET 2023. My rank was not good enough to get 1st 3 colleges of my preference. So Didn't get there. However GMC Raipur is considered as best medical college in chhattisgarh after AIIMS Raipur, followed by CIMS Bilaspur, and for 3rd some students prefer Rajnandgaon over Jagdalpur because of Distance from home . Personally, I preferred GMC Rajnandgaon over GMC Jagdalpur because Rajnandgaon is closer to my hometown but I couldn't made it to there,and I was alloted Jagdalpur. I could have gotten cims bilaspur if I would have applied with my OBC category but since this college is closer to my home I opted for it.
