Remarks

Entrance Exam

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I don’t like this course much. I never wanted to be a teacher don’t really know where is my fate leading me to but as I have started this particular thing m going on with it and will try to complete it.

Internships Opportunities

Yes we have to go for our block teachings in different schools of Delhi so they manage and arrange the schools on their own we need not do anything in particular and I have always loved all the schools we got.

Placement Experience

4

Placements and opportunities obviously I don’t know about these things so I can’t say about them but I’m sure they would be doing their best and even if not I don’t have to be a teacher anyway so who cares.

College Events

2

Annual fest annual day sports day also each department has its own departmental fests. Truly speaking no B.El.Ed child is allowed to participate in extracurricular activities as we have a lot of burden of work.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. Fees of our course are 19k per year so yeah anyone can afford that much money it is not much and it is for the whole year and also du always had less money as fees as it is government university.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don’t know if there is any scholarship thing but yes we get the student concession pass. I make bus pass and train pass maybe that will be considered and I’ve seen my sc st friends getting the scholarship of 80k something. Not much information for that.

Campus Life

2.5

We have everything for extracurriculars but we don’t take part in them as already said We are too busy to be a part of them but I have opted chemistry as my subject so I go to chemistry lab often. Nothing much

Hostel Facilities

4

Infrastructure is good but maybe it doesn’t have much money to make an auditorium as every college has one so this is a demerit and no exposure to sports or maybe because I'm in BElEd so I’ve never seen that.

Alumni/Alumna

My seniors have always been helpful and I always loved them. In fact, I could say I got the best seniors so down to earth no attitude there were such supportive people as our elders which come to us asking us about our life which I never saw before.

Exam Structure

Annual. We have to give exams every may and if we fail in any two subjects we have to repeat the whole year which was very bad for me as I have repeated a year I think this should be changed to the semester thing or maybe at least remove failing thing.

Admission

I gave the exam of Beled then we were asked to choose a college as per our ranks and then I chose this one. This was basically on the selection of counseling. We had to put priority checks on the names of colleges.

Faculty

3.5

My faculty is not awesome but yeah it’s good. I like it. It stands by my side wherever I feel its need. I love people working in it when they are not in our classroom but when they are in their teacher mode on I cannot bear them.

Placement Experience:

Students in B.ed course become eligible to take jobs in the last semester i.e 4th semester. The college does not provide any placement in our course instead students themself have to mail and contact different schools to secure a teching job. Average package a student can expect depends on many factors like their subjects, qualifications and skills. On an average one can expect around 6lpa in private sector. For securing jobs in government schools Students have to clear exams like DSSSB etc where average package ranges from 10 -12 lpa. Many of my seniors are doing jobs in private schools as techers while some teach online and have their you tube channels. I am planning to do masters in English literature from DU to increase my knowledge and job opportunities.

The B.El.Ed. curriculum offers an interdisciplinary approach, blending theory and practice across subjects like Education, Psychology, and Sociology. It emphasizes hands-on teaching experience through internships, where students practice in real classrooms. There's a strong focus on child development, helping future teachers understand diverse learning needs and manage inclusive classrooms effectively.
